Alexis, thank you very much for this info and cleaning supplies. I am a Canon printer user and have been for 30 years but over Covid I couldnt find anything but the HP OfficeJet Pro 8025 and after 6 months the Cyan ink was blocked. I contacted HP and because i am part of their annoying Instant Print program they said that they would help and to date they have sent me 9 new cartridges, 3 of them being Cyan and of course they said that the issue would be solved with a new cartridge every time, when I knew that it was a print head problem. Now, after dealing with the HP service people for over six months they have now informed me that the printer is now out of warranty because of the time they kept fobbing me off with ink cartridges which they knew would run out the warranty. Bastards! Alexis, I ordered the cleaning fluid which arived very quickly and although I recognize the smell of the liquid I must say that the best thing about the kit are the plastic syringes which allow you to get the fluid to flow through the clogged jets with ease are they are a pure genius piece of hardware and have worked like a charm. So I thank you again and cannot impress upon anyone with a clogged jet to purchase this great kit. Thank you again. Regards, Doug.

I also use nozzle check function from HP that is accessible with 4 clicks on back button on my 6960, it may vary from model to model. Then you can clearly see what colour is really clogged

Hi Kevin! I tried this but it did not work. SHould I try it again or try to replace the printhead? Only Blue is not printing at all, the rest of the colors are fine.

Very informative, thanks. Didn't understand why you were using ink combined with water solution with the black ink. Is it best to do this when uncloging rather than use normal undiluted ink? That is the way I fill the cartridges on my HP too so glad to see you using it. I was told to take the tape off the breather hole on the other side and put paper towel underneath it and when ink comes out you know it's full, but is this unnecessary? I refilled them recently and ran the clean printhead a couple of times then did another one next day but still get slight lines, not white but slightly different shade like happened to you. Is this a problem? I like the grass and trees at the end. Nice environment for a warehouse!

It's not water. I combined ink with the wetter solution. The wetter solution absorbs moisture from the air and keeps the printhead wet. If a printhead is cleaned with ink, it will stay fresh just for a few days because ink is designed to dry fast once it is printed. However, if I fill the printhead with 100% wetter solution (like in a new printer), the first few pages will be blank. Some impatient customers will yell murder and return the printhead. So I come up with a formula to combine both, so the customer will see some color immediately, and will not send me angry emails. LOL

Hi Kevin, I bought the red cleaning solution kit and followed your instructions, twice. The "diaper" really depletes my cartridges. My result is improved (I csn actually get some cyan and yellow), but not great: seems the top of the test color block cyan and yellow is missing. Should I give it a 3rd try, or is it hopeless? Thx for your great vids and help.
