Options from the Single leg! Great video! I spend so much time here I should pay rent.

It's such a great position to be in though. There is so much offense you can generate.

Love that first one because I'm a big guy and when a 260+ person gets you to that point your stuck No frame and smashed thanks again. Hope you make it back out to Tacoma I missed your last seminar out here with oaktree judo.

Question: On the first escape, granted you "shouldnt" get there, whats preventing the top guy using the far side underhook and pinning your back to the floor. Or is that a risk you take being in such a bad position. AWESOME VIDEO! Thanks

Thanks for the video, once again lots of great details. Could you please make a follow-on video for options on the single leg? Would love to see that. You guys are like a modern day laurel and hardy 😂😂
@TravisStevensgrappling5 жыл бұрын
Do you mean from the recovery from side control or a single leg from standing? Sorry but there are just so many types of single legs and variations.
@BrianBirdy5 жыл бұрын
Travis Stevens thanks for taking the time to respond. At 7:25 in the video you’ve just shrimped down past his hips and are in on a single leg, where you drag the ankle and work to the back. You mentioned there are loads of variations from this single leg position, and I’d definitely be keen to see some of you have the time. Thanks brother, loving the content, entertaining and educational - as it should be 😉

Against a judoka it's very hard and very different. The pressure is immense and they are always changing and adjusting position depending on where you escape.
