Takes me back to when my husband came back from deployments. One return our daughter was a toddler. When he deployed to Afghanistan, she was a teen in high school. On his last deployment, she was a grown married lady. I'm so glad he retired after almost 30 years in the Army. Welcome home!! Thank you for your service ❤

Watching loved ones reunite after being separated is truly one of the most emotional experiences. It reminds us how precious time with family is and how much we cherish those we hold dear. Each hug carries the weight of longing, and each tear reflects the joy of finally being together again. Has anyone else felt this overwhelming mix of emotions? I’d love to hear your stories of reunions that touched your heart. Let’s celebrate these beautiful moments together

Thank you to our troops for helping protect our families and our country. But a very special thanks to all the families who wait on the mainland for their service person to come home especially the small kiddos who really don't understand why Mom or Dad can't come home everyday like Jimmy's dad does. But I'm sure the people that care them really reinforce why the parent that is missing is working and will come as soon as they can and they really want to come home too be with them also.

It's not exactly the same thing, but as I was growing up, my wayward brother, Patrick, would disappear for months on end and then would suddenly reappear and surprise us. There would always be lots of tears and hugs - just like on this video. Patrick was murdered when I was 19. Now, as a mother myself, I can't imagine the deep and intense emotion my mother must have felt whenever he returned home. How sad the day was when we knew he would never return. God bless all these soldiers coming home to their families. May they all return safely.
