The Vogue 900 was the one that stood out to me the most. 8.5k for a fully specced tourer with a bmw gs engine and chassis etc. Equivalent bmw was 18k

Why do manufacturers think us customers only want the choice of 2 colours!!! R9 in red and white r9 in Marlboro orange r9 in yellow black and white racing livery.... come on guys you want us to fall in love and trade our older bikes in for the new model then make it harder for us.

They probably want to save colour schemes for later year models to differentiate them. Both the blue and black are nice though in my opinion and likely much better in person.

Yeah it's pretty decent, could be the sweet spot for many as it should vibrate a lot less than that T-plane engine.

I think the Hornet 1000 SP looks brilliant. Shame that they did not apply this style to the 750, I don't need/want a 1000cc bike with way over 200kg. With this price and looks it's still tempting 😅

Controversial statement but I prefer the underslung exhaust box, it makes the bike look sleeker. I do wish it was black though or maybe was covered more with the belly pan. The Tiger Sport 800 looks like the sport touring bike that I've always wanted. Now if only I had the money for a two bike garage 😅. The Hornet 1000SP is such a great deal. I think I'd still prefer my Street Triple RS to it any day but if it didn't exist I'd definitely consider the Hornet.

I don't mind an underslung exhaust, but they could at least make it look nicer! Triumph are good at that. The 1000 Hornet looks a bit cheap in places, probably because it is cheap considering the performance. I think the suspension looks rather soft on the stock Hornet though.

@Englishbikerdan yeah, they definitely could make it look better for sure and you're right about Triumph doing that so much better. As for the Hornet? I don't think the people who buy the regular one are the type who would care. That's where the SP comes in and it's definitely the one I'd consider. It's a bit heavy for my taste though. I'm more excited because I think it's going to make the other companies take notice.

Nice vid. R9 looks nice as does the MT-07. Tiger 800 should be a great bike but definitely seems like a parts bin job. Mini GS looks cool. Liking the S1000R & RR with shouty paint jobs. Best thing about the Hornet 1000 is the price, which is incredible, but the bike itself is pretty average imo. However, they will undoubtedly sell thousands of them. Loving the new V2 Panigale & Streetfighter. You missed the Suzuki DRZ400 Dan, although maybe you're not that interested?

Do you think it's worth to buy Tracer 9gt+ 2023 or Tracer 9? I don't love their twin dash hence I'm leaning towards gt+, the new gt looks promising but it's over my budget :(, Im mainly looking under 10k

The 2024 Tracer 9 GT+ is nearly £2k less expensive than the new 2025 model. I'd go for that personally.

I know the CB1000 Hornet is a competitive price but I can’t help but wish it was a bit more premium instead of just being cheap. Like Yamaha is giving us a full alloy frame and cruise control and 6 axis IMU in the MT09 meanwhile Honda has a steel frame and none of the rest.

The MT09 is a much less powerful machine and nearly £3000 more than the 1000Hornet. The MT10 is its direct equal and competitor in the market, the SP version of which is more than £6000 more expensive than the SP Hornet.

If the Tracer 9 had better design... (and so ugly for 2025 ...sorry...) it would be one of the best selling bikes out there. Note the F 450 GS is tubeless in this concept scheme.... there are zero tubeless spoked bikes in this 600 and under category... this would be one of the best bikes out there if as you said it looks even similar to this

Great to see a well-considered summary of the event. R9 looks great with a tempting RPM 😜that will likely make more affordable regarding insurance premiums I hope that long-term Yamaha retain the R1 as a halo bike, would be fantastic if they ever trickledown the V4 from MotoGP to consumers.
