She reminds me so much of the 1977 Superstar Barbie and I love that. My mom had that doll and and she gave her to me as my introduction to dolls and so that one has a very special meaning to me and I love this doll referencing her so much. Like she really feels like a new version of the 1977 doll, down to her eyes being painted in blue and the kinds of pieces she comes with. Like everything from the earrings, to the necklace, to the ring, to the fact that she wears shawl.

This doll is amazing. Im so excited to see all this pink coming back. Ive seen people rebody her on the curvy bodies and she looks fantastic. I can see what you mean about her eye but people do have that. One of my eyes looks bigger than the other because one of the lids is lower. So it is a thing LOL

Absolutely beautiful the blue eyes make her face pop and she kinda brings back the 90s eye makeup in that way. She's got the typical movie premiere dress with shaw wrap and full length gloves going on. The price isn't bad compared to some of the collector barbie in signature collections.

I think the eyes are okay. I think if her pupils were looking straight ahead, then the eyes would look the same size. But since her pupils are looking sideways, I think it creates an optical illusion that makes one eye appear bigger than the other.

That's not called platinum blonde, platinum blonde is a level 10 ash, meaning nearly white. That is a level 9 natural blonde (which is more yellow), and underneath that looks more like a darker ash blonde, not golden. Stunning doll.
