hi. if the bed is a king, you could have a custom duvet covered made that has a trim border 6-8" thick, this helps add width and length.

I watched your latest video, first one of yours. Where you are in your bedroom, I fell in love with your headboard and footboard. So watching this video was interesting. I have a wrought iron bed, I bought thirty years ago and still love it. It was a cream color that it got sick of so I painted it an oil rubbed bronze. I do not like upholstered or wood head boards. I love the look of an open and airy headboard. Love your style.

I would love a video about molding, trim and paneling. Which to use and how to calculate the panel placement. I was studying the wall behind that gorgeous bed during the whole video. Also how to update the trim around doors when there isn't much space between the door and the walls in small houses.

This is so helpful! I am planning my bedroom redo and was getting stuck on the existing rug, which is a saturated tan with a golden undertone. I would like to go modern traditional. I am a clean traditional admirer, very similar to your style. I use crystal and more mirror. Does your husband appreciate the lighter colors? My husband eats cookies in bed so I hesitate to go lighter. And he wants to keep the stained oak wood trim. I’m not sure how I can go Luxe with all the wood. Thank you for the inspiration!

hi, thanks for watching. lightening up the oak trim really is one of the most impactful ways of updating a room. if he is totally opposed, bleach the wood out to eliminate the orangeness of it which will help give it a more european vibe, think French country...... and then bring in the lightness with painted furniture.

great , great interior designer, all is beatifull, i love all ur work, but I think it would be more glamorous if that sofa was upholstered in a soft chinoiserie fabric and didn't hide the beauty of the rattan (caning) and wood in the front part of the bed. that bed and this bedroom is a dream

Thank you for the information. Its the second video I am watching and found it difficult to get through them for the short and very invasive for the ear background music. I would prefer not to hear it at all vs the ones you are using. And, if possible, to have more visuals, rather than watching you talking.
