@MrCodgod111
@MrCodgod111 Күн бұрын
@@sirchawlez4718 you can have turnovers at jobs be higher then 100%, I recommend you look into that as its explained and works very similarly. The answer indeed lays in replacements, and “maff”. A simple google search will inform you the equation is if you have 12 guys leave (die In this situation), and on average you only have 10 guys. Then the turnover is 120%. Crazy thought, right? Maff man. Just because you have an average of 10 at one time, doesn’t mean you can’t have 12. It just means that 10 is usually what you have / expect to have as turnovers usually take a time frame into account. Thats cause the military ( and employers) need to know how many people to replace and train. And usually have enough data to build those numbers, thus when they loose much more people then expected / hired / trained the turnover can suddenly jump over 100%. Cause they’re loosing people much faster than they’re replacing and planned on replacing. Maff man. It’s like stocks, if my $50 turns into $100 that’s a 100% gain, if $50 turns into $200 that’s not just a 100% gain. Percentages don’t end in 100%, sorry the elementary school maff teachers lied.

The English controlled both side then had a war made out they lost to get the trust then burned down the whitehouse. Please look this up. Lots of stuff out there about it to if you really look. And the USA has better equipment more man power that’s all. Delta was started because you guy came over to train with the sas back in the day. But do you honestly think the sas will teach you all the tactics of war. Naaaaaa I think not. My ex brother was 22sas my mate sbs. We have shite equipment and gear. And still use it way better. Not saying delta are crap. Cuz they are not. There amazing and I love the USA 🇺🇸 military and have a lot of respect 🫡 for use all. And use do have better stuff and bigger budgets and so on. You go ask any delta guy they’ll say same stuff. 22 SAS EVERYONE tried to model of them. Yet we tough delta force the game. Just we never taught use every trick in the book. The two of use together tho as brothers and sisters are the ultimate force and we should be to. Also the first guy says about we don’t want rangers to die today the thing is with this if seals or delta are in bad shit and need rescued It’s the rangers that do it every time. My biggest regret in life is not sticking to my childhood dream of becoming a special forces operator or Marine. Watched Black Hawk Down and 9/11 happened when i was in the 3rd grade. I already loved guns and airsoft, my fav pants that i wore everyday when skateboarding were my desert camo cargo pants.. things happened that were out of my control when i was young that changed me and my future. Stadted hanging w gang members, doing drugs to the point that everything i was passionate about before, which was plenty, it all fell by the wayside. Then, this is the worst thing cuz unlike the other stuff, i cant just take it back or change kt easily. I got a bunch of tattoos. When i was 23 i wanted to get my life right and went to a marine recruiter. I wanted to be a Raider, and he said because i have tattoos on my wrists and a small one on my hand, i cant do it, but could maybe be a corpsman and id still work w marines. I didnt do it cuz i didnt wanna be the guy only patching ppl up.. i wanted to fight!! If youre young reading this, dont waste your youth on stupid things and so called friends that encourage you to fuck your life off. If they encourage you to do drugs, skip school, commit crimes, do things that make your parents angry, disappointed, and sad.. they arent your friend. Do something worthwhile. It starts when you are young tho. Even before 18. Do it for the ones that want to but can't anymore.

@jordanmarsh7410 I've experienced a similar lifepath and similar feelings; but with the aid of hindsight, it was extremely easy for me to move past them. Everyone has their own motivations; but I'm not sure loving guns and airsoft, and your favourite pants being desert camo are objectively great reasons to give your life to the machine. 😅 _Especially_ given how many of those who _were_ there feel about what went down during the GWOT.

Can I ask a question ? How do you stay calm when your full of holes and bleeding out and docs working on you how do you stay calm so you don’t bleed out faster since adrenaline pumps blood very fast , what I mean by that is also if I don’t know the severity of my wounds I would have much a stronger chance of surviving , once I see the wounds I see the severity believing it’s going to be the end soon , and either freak out or make peace , if I’m not aware I’d probably trying get back in the fight , If you see a wound how do you remain calm than if you didn’t see it but know something is up

I'm on my missus account, just for clarity...... But it is so refreshing too hear another view on combat. I am 44, served in the British Army..... From the age 17 in 1997 for over 10 years, then i went in too the private security sector. Now people inevitably ask you questions from serving. The 2 questions i always get asked is, Do Night Vision Goggles..... British HMNVS, make that noise? Do grenades iron out loads of people? Now i say in reply..... Night Vision devices at any time, are CRAP! I mean they are awful. Too work, you need good ambient light.... without that, they are next too useless. When wearing them, your peripheral vision is shocking, it is almost like tunnel vision.... And you can only see a few feet in front of you, i hated wearing them with a passion, i would prefer going in close quarters with full BA on, than using NV. Second.... grenades, like this dude said.... Do not kill people. Grenades in the most part, blow up and out, meaning that if you are close too a grenade, if you get down and tuck, the chances are, the blast will rock you, but you'll probably be alright for the most part. But a grenade ''bang'' are actually quite a let down lol..... If a Hollywood movie used real grenade effects in film, it would be a quick, loud snappy bang, little flash of light, dust and smoke...... that's it, plus these things are pretty weighty! It cracks me up in movies, these soldiers carry 15 grenades on their person, their primary weapon system, secondary weapon system, magazines, water, all their kit.... yet they pull out endless grenades, throw them 50ft and they explode with the force of C4. But i tell my pals this and they say ridiculous s##t like.... ''But if it isn't true, why use it in realistic war movies'' and they act like i am lying? It is almost a sense of justice hearing someone else speak the same truths. Adults really need too differentiate between REAL war and Movies. The closest i would say any movie has got is Kajaki..... Of which we were a part of the force tasked with going out too the lads to cover, so the medical aid could reach them. Black Hawk Down.... Which was a great depiction of just how fast things can go tits up when in contact and how you lose the upper hand in the blink of an eye And Lone Survivor.... That movie and those lads i salute, they were so totally outnumbered, out gunned and were battered. I think for a movie, that managed too show just how brutal, unfair, mad and fast flowing real contact is. This guy is very good at explaining the facts and sometimes brutal facts individuals face, Shawn Ryan show, DJ Shipley..... That dude has a ring of Jesus Fire of something, because he should not still be here.

1:10:30 I had the honor and privilege to go through Gunsmithing school from 2009-2011 with a man named Larry A. Steele who was one of the men in the picture on the cover of Inside Delta Force. He was also one of the earliest members of Delta when it was still being formed. Unfortunately in his older years he had developed a degenerative bone disease and when we were in school together he had to stay in a power chair and could only walk a few feet. It was definitely sad and humbling to see a man who was once one of our countries greatest war fighters now so weak, broken, and stuck in that chair. However he didn't see it as a big disadvantage and was always one of the funnest guys in the class to be around. He could keep up and do all the requirements of the class just as good as anyone else, and never skipped a beat. He was an awesome guy and truly one of the finest men I've ever known.

Anyone from any part of the military can select for Delta! SEALs or the navy did allow some coat guard members to go through BUD/S. I'm not sure they still allow this, but a few did make it.

So I always hear the tourniquet hurt so much. Well I got shot in the butt and it came out my upper inner thigh and couple places. And had to fight for 5 more ish hours. Once a medic got dropped in on and cable in the mountains He said I gotta tighten your tourniquet and it’s gonna hurt but honestly it didn’t I got airlifted on a cable off a mountains 15 k up with rpgs shit ton of tracers mountains on fire finally cause air support took 4 hours. Then I lost consciousness in the helicopter loss of blood anoxious brain injury or a simulated stroke . Woke up in Germany 21 days later. But back to the point I can’t remember it hurting when he tightens it

Crazy how the delta guy doesn’t consider green berets as operators.
@nlee5034
@nlee5034 9 ай бұрын
Not necessarily… Green Berets are NOT operators. They CAN operate (DA, CQB, fast rope onto an objective, etc)… but they are the very definition of a “force multiplier”. There job is to take people (often, with no combat experience), and turn them into a fighting force, as quick a possible. Green Berets will also admit that they aren’t as proficient at the “operator” stuff, as their counterparts, because that’s not their purpose.
@yukloop
@yukloop 9 ай бұрын
The term “operator” was specifically given to Delta Force Individuals when Delta force was founded. Delta guys acted as agents, or extensions, of the executive branch and needed to be identified as such. Because FbI already was using “agent” apparently Beckwith chose to use the handle Operator when he founded delta. So the only reason Delta (Army) doesn’t consider Green Barets/Special Forces(Army)”operators” is because in their internal lingo they are not operators. This is just based on the reading I have done. A good book is Delta Force By Charles A Beckwith-the founder of DF. Super interesting. Have a good’un.

@@yukloop I see, thanks for the education. So it’s like when people call SEALs and Rangers Special Forces when Special Forces are Green Berets! So then why are DEVGRU guys called operators also? Or is that a miss identification like my example of SF?

@@SupaSaiyanFJ as yukloop points out the term operator was originally given to Delta individuals it has since been expanded to all tier one individuals acting on the ground and has even leaked down a bit to USMC and SEALS. And I say "acting on the ground" because ISA aren't considered operators as they're an intelligence force, but are 100% tier one. But anyone that is familiar with the military will usually only call tier one individuals operators, hence DEVGRU guys are often called operators as they're tier one. But it's mostly semantics in my opinion. I'm from the UK btw so hopefully I've got that right as I'm obviously more familiar with the UK military.

This reminds me of work I did in the middle east. I had to get control as a US American how i did it, that later became a US marine,. Looking in on the matter on matter that existed was matter that existed. It existed. It was activity. The times i was taken and deceased when doing so was not nearly as emotionally difficult as the times i saw how much sufference their was by nice people who got control of their space when something went wrong, which is the space that unhealthy activity became a dynamic of more than normal unhealthy activity at space. When I'm well, I can handle seeing unhealthy and say, we can repair this. But it would start to hurt me personally so I had to leave to get well.
