We also have the 14th least yellow cards on the year with 15, Spurs (another side who play with a higher line and intense press) have 27. Of the 4 red cards that have been issued one has already been retroactively removed, one was due to a goal scoring opportunity (which wasn’t given equally on our penalty today mind you), and another was the Jones tackle which (as you saw with Kovacic today) was arguably not a red. The only one I concede is the Jota card. You’re bringing up tactical fouls like that’s the reason we’ve received Reds, it’s led to literally one red card on Jota. Stop waffling

Worth noting that Liverpool have had a very tough start to the season - 5 away games (including Chelsea, Newcastle, Brighton and Spurs) and only 3 played at home so far. Also as mentioned, they're playing with a brand new midfield, which will (or should) only improve as they become more used to one another.

"Forest one of the thickest clubs around since coming up" seems harsh. They got promoted when they had NO RIGHT. One of the worst and thinnest squads to be promoted in recent memory with most of their squad being loanees who left upon promotion. They throw a ton at the wall to see what sticks initially... spending a lot for sure, but did stay up. This season they bring in Sangare, Dominguez to add midfield quality then Callum Hudson Odoi and Elanga combined cost just 13-18M with add ons. Their initial business was haphazard but thickest clubs in the market? They're sat in 13th, having played Chelsea, Man City, Man Utd and Arsenal ALL away from home in their opening 8 games, and have Luton at home next... which you'd imagine lifts them to 10-11th. In their second season, to call them thick... seems like an emotional reaction to them signing a lot of players in their first season... they've obviously done smart business to progress so quick.

Liverpools numbers aren’t numbers that can really read into cuz they’ve played roughly same amount of minutes with 10men as 11, Liverpool will be like 17/18 where they just outscore teams but concede a good few but with them having 10men they’ve showed they can defend effectively and even with 9men, I personally think teams should be slightly afraid of Liverpool due to the mentality they’ve created can see the togetherness they have and especially after last week wouldn’t be surprised if they have the us against the world mentality which will create an extra bond inside the squad

Striker market is always a potential overpay market, but right now the high end keeper's are in high demand. There aren't many capable of playing both the sweeper keeper+ start of build up phase ball player, who can also combine that ability with impressive post shot xG stats. Bayern simply couldn't find a keeper to stand in for Neuer with, and that absence of quality in the market hasn't resolved itself yet. There's potential for some major transfer errors from big clubs.

You lot either base your opinions on biases or if buts and maybes. We've also played a similar amount of time down players then we have with a full 11, which means you can't really read into many of our games because teams attack/defend differently when their playing with/against 10 men (or 9 men). But I'm not at all shocked by their constant anti-Liverpool agenda since they are owned by Sky, Sky put out the still image of the VVD "handball" even though it very clearly hits his leg before and by the letter of the law isn't a handball but to stir up the fans and get them against Liverpool they put it out anyways. Every Liverpool fan knows that we won't be as solid defensively as previous seasons, much like 17/18 (and early Klopp years) where we have to score 2/3/4 goals to win a game. You lot also fail to realize that Klopp likes to take time bedding in players (ie. Robbo and Fabinho) to ensure they understand their role and what is being asked of them, hence why Endo hasn't started in the PL because he often played in a double pivot which is extremely different then a single pivot, so I would expect Endo to start more after the international break. You say Arsenal have played badly, but fail to mention Liverpool being extremely unlucky with reffing decisions which has handicapped us in games. You read into underlying numbers and stuff way to much, rather then give the blatant obvious as explanations to team's problems. I just gave you loads on Liverpool that you didn't come close to mentioning but rather use hypotheticals, if buts and maybes, and reading way too much into underlying numbers.

when will people stop looking into stats from 7 games with Liverpool considering they play with 10 men 50% of the time, its such nonsense to look at defender activity and shots conceded when you get two red cards in a game. The red cards so far have all been shambolic bar van Dijks against Newcastle. Jones you could argue should be red but in no way does it seem like the type of challenge that should go from yellow to red unless you get shown a 10second still of Jones' studs on the ankle like they did with the ref.
