Ships have thrusters mounted transversely. The thrusters normally use water to push away from the dock. It works as a very powerful hose to push the ship away.

Shiba San, that was so relaxing….You know you deserve that suite. You should treat yourself well…as much as you can. Tho I have to agree with another commenter. I’d prefer to eat in the general restaurant and I think they really should have included the coffee in the price…🤔.. I really wonder if it’s ever possible to sit comfortably out on a ships balcony🥶 ??...one of lifes mysteries I guess 👀 .. By the way.. they do say that to be shat on by a bird is good luck…You lucky man 😂🤣🤗!! ..Another beautifully shot vid Shiba San…Thank you …🥰🤗🌺..!!

Thank you, very good content. I lived in Japan for many years but never took a long distance boat. I once tried to take the Nagoya to Sendai boat, it turned out it only sails every other night-after I caught a cab to make the sailing. I felt like the dimmest gaijin in Japan that night in front of the cab driver, it was about a man in cab fare for nothing.-hah hah hah.

@thiscorrosion9002 жыл бұрын
For some reason I'd rather have a combo tub/shower or just a shower instead. But the room itself is immense it's better than a lot of US hotels I've been in with a double bed room.
The room is BETTER than the most luxurious room on many cruise ships.

A very nice room but not for just one person! Take me with you next time! Seriously, I would probably go for the cheapest room with a private toilet. Because at my age it is a must. The food looked strange to an American but I would try it. But the food in the usual buffet as seen in other videos looks better.

At 6:31 the ship name is English is "Azalea". At 6:39 & 15:01, you say it is "Azerea". You can still see the name "Azalea" on the ship then as well. 😉 At 11:01, it is a "hanger", not "hunger" 😎 I would to be bad at a language I am not used to.

Wow Shiba this is not the first time I've seen this trip and I thought I already commented on it but to be fair your ferry tips relax me so much that I do watch them at night and drift off to sleep so in a sense this is sort of like the first time seeing this one and I have two favorites that you did and I totally would have done which is take a nice relaxing bath with a beer and a window of the night view of the ocean (my body relaxed just watching it) and taking your morning coffee out on your balcony (even though it was probably too windy or chilly) before going down for any breakfast. The sunrise that you captured was absolutely mesmerizing. You were and remained the only one who does these ferry trips that I subscribed to for a long time and still I may only have one other one because I think you capture the beauty of the ferry and the room regardless of the size or cost and you can make even a simple beer or snack from a vending machine look relaxing and inviting but more importantly you made someone from Massachusetts in the USA want to very much travel out to Japan and experience not only the ferry but the markets and little restaurants as well but most of all Shiba I adore your personality and sense of humor!!! Safe travels!!
