Hi Anthony I watched the video of you doing your first muscle up and have now come to this video and it’s amazing to see the progress you’ve made. I’m 39 and a gym regular and have been spending the last week trying to do my first muscle up. Was feeling disheartened as I go to the gym daily. Watching your videos has been an inspiration and a lesson in patience, to not expect to be able to magically do it straight away. Thanks for showing what can be done with dedication and perseverance 🙌🏾

Hey thanks for watching my videos.. pleased you found something useful there. You clearly have the strength, but I suspect you just need to learn the correct technique. Keep going.

Antony, you’re getting stronger with age. Not often we can say that, sadly. But you’re an inspiration, I hope I’m like you at 59.

Your truly an inspiration, in nearing my 40s and just started trying to achive my first 1. Ive worked out for years, but a muscle up is quite challenging, at last for now. Great video brother, enjoyed listening to you also.

Yes, but not as often as I do pull-ups. If the weather is bad, and I can’t train outside, then I’ll revert to push-ups.

I don't expect a reply, so please don't feel the need. I just wanted to say thank you for inspiring me as an older man to purchase a bar, bands, and rings to start the muscle up journey. It's going well.

Awesome!! How many pull ups could you do when you started muscle ups? Currently I can do 3 x 10 and not sure if now is too soon. Or do I wait till I can do 15 reps?

I did my first muscle up when I could do 14 pull-ups. I now know that it’s more about technique, than power, so go for it..
