great, now go to the resort area in platinum, fish with a super rod and lead with a pokemon that knows pressure, you'll have a 1 in 200 chance of getting a lvl 100 magikarp, shiny hunt it and you have a banger of a video

I sure did! Repel trick made the 1% appear every time. It was kind of an inside joke between myself and Lucius about Magikarp being such an outrageous shiny to hunt for and then I said to him that I could hunt an even more outrageous shiny Magikarp than what he's currently going for in FRLG. I definitely took the joke a little too far and then this all happened from it. 😂

@@jonathannagar7229 It was 1% encounter speed, but I'd always encounter level 50 Magikarp. The encounters added up really slowly.
