Whether or not you're treated like a number, you will be considered one where ever you work

That’s a fair point-it’s true that many workplaces prioritize results and efficiency over individuality. But I’ve found that the little things, like being treated with respect and feeling valued by your team, can make a big difference. Thanks for sharing your perspective!

I've been a civil servant for over 25 years, and my job is totally pointless - due to retire soon, and I know the minute I walk out the door, I'll ge forgotten. I can assure you, we're all just a number at work regardless of who you work for.

I think that if you can see life as an adventure / experiment & not be too invested in the end result or too afraid of failure. Life can be amazing.

That’s such a great perspective. Seeing life as an adventure takes a lot of pressure off and makes it easier to appreciate the journey, even when things don’t go as planned

Most job is crap...even mine. Outside looks kool...inside it's not...some jobs are a life skill.

Totally get where you're coming from-things often look better from the outside than they feel on the inside. But I agree, some jobs do teach you life skills that stick with you no matter where you go. Thanks for sharing your take!
