Just make sure to have at least 2 barrels. 7.5 is neat, but 10mm can easily be a daily driver. Of course, it is a more task-specific pistol than a regular 9mm polymer pistol, I'd certainly prefer this over a Glock 19 to walk around the woods.

I have the normal PSD model and its a multi caliber. I got mine with the 7.5fk and 10mm/40sw barrel. There is a 9mm kit that swaps out the barrel and spring, and according to their customer service line, they recommend at least +p 9mm, and the best is +p+. I suppoze if you grabbed lighter spring, regular 9mm would work.

@@EtherFox The Buffalo Bore 185gr JHC's achieve almost the same amount of kinetic energy as these 7.5FK cartridges do out of a 4-inch barrel (715 vs 721 ftlbs), so you might as well go for the pistol that can hold 4 more rounds in the mag.

Easy, same casing one has a 5.7mm bullet, the other is 7.5mm 😂

@@vonleiningen Different casing. 5.7mm has similarities to 5.56's base, but is straight walled instead of tapered. The FK has similar dimensions with 10mm, which is based off .30 Rem, the same parent case of 6.8SPC, 224V, and 40SW.

At a glance: 7.5 FK is a 700-900 ftlb ME cartridge. 5.7x28 is a 300-400 ftlb ME cartridge. The prior combines the power of 10mm Auto with a .30 instead of .40 caliber bullet, while the latter replicates the utility of 22 Magnum in a small, centerfire cartridge.

This is really cool but current PSD owners would love to know when braces and light-bearing holsters will be available. Threaded barrels would be a nice touch too. Hopefully since this is a compact they're going to do a better job of having holsters available out the gate. Everybody I know with a full size is using a custom made holster, myself included.
