I've already purchased this, from a different vendor, but the new proffie v3.9 is a harsh temptress. I've the Obi-Wan v3.5 with proffie v3.9 (from CCSabers) and am glad I made that purchase. You know I'm a fan of thin neck lightsabers.

Blade Plug looks to be chrome @ 7:41 to 7:42 when you say the word "here". I believe the gold color is a reflection emanating from the underside of the box lid which is a grey/tan foam pad.

You mention that design seem has some similarities with the Qui-Gon saber, but I always thought it looked like a precursor to the OT Obi - chunky pommel, ring grooves, slightly thin neck, etc.

While there's a lot of great options out there nowadays compared to years past, I think Saberz makes the best Ep.1 Obi-Wan fx hilt. Pricier, but most accurate among fx. If you're going static, The Dewy/Anakin Starkiller hilt is the most accurate of all. Just a heads up on 89 Sabers. The owner, Peter Zhang, is a known recaster in the prop replica community. That's why his hilts are as accurate as they are.

You should definitely try the Xeno v3 from Vader’s Sabers. They literally look like the 89 Sabers version but with an accurate silver blade plug

I understand that the saber is a little cheaper than it used to be but you shouldn’t be saying 550 is cheap that’s a lot of people’s entire paycheck it’s still a hellava investment

CC is ok, they come with NO blade styles. Only sound. So you need to learn Arduino or send it off. Kyber Sabers proffie had a ton of blade styles pre included. CC sabers basically said “too bad, call Ronin Sabers”. Tony saved the day. Probably not doing CC again.
