Hey Tristan, remember visiting my friend in Istanbul. He said we're going to Asia for lunch. I assumed it was like Chinatown, an area for Asian food. Nope, it was the continent Asia. I didn't know Turkey covers two continents, both Europe and Asia. Again, lots of love from Melbourne.

I live in Turkey and approximately %50-%60 of Turks not open-minded. In the west of Turkey people are more open-minded but in the east it is not.

Ne Guzel. Ama, Turkieye cok daha cesitli. You should go again and hang out at some of the sports clubs, they are serious about their sports. But you should know, not all Turkish men who walk hand and hand are gay, it's a traditional male thing in my experience, though possibly this is fading with the younger Turkish generation. Turks lack some of our American taboos and hang ups (though of course they have their own). I think you'd like the Black Sea area but the whole country is full of history and life

Those men you saw holding hands may not be a gay couple. In Muslim areas men are allowed to be affectionate with each other unlike in the USA. In our country women are allowed to be affectionate without raising alarm (although I think that because lesbianism is so much more talked about that straight women might hesitate today).

In Turkey, men dont hold their hands like in this picture on video although some Turkish arent open minded as he says. Especially in small cities. And i know in Pakistan men hold hands like you say.
