Thanks for sharing, Maya! I 💌 your videos. They are such a fun to watch! I plan to spend a couple of months in Japan during October & November 2023 (and extend it even more for the first days of December). I plan to travel solo around Japan, but I would like to have a base because I will have to work as well (I work remotely as a designer). I would love to stay in Tokyo and Kyoto for sure, and I'm looking for a long stay and affordable solutions. Would you suggest a capsule hotel for a long stay? Was there free and fast wifi at the one you stayed? Is it possible to attend skype calls in this lounge (using headphones, of course!), or are there other quiet remote work-friendly places to do that? And lastly (sorry for all these questions!) ... would you recommend also using some other city as a base except Kyoto and Tokyo? I appreciate your help in advance! Keep up the great job with your channel

Thanks so much for watching! Tokyo and kyoto are both great places to have your base at since they’re so convenient. The capsule hotel I was at was very quiet both in the lounge area and sleeping area but there were no rules about being silent and some people were talking/talking on the phone and yes wifi is free. Long term staying wise I guess it depends how much privacy/comfort you prefer. I enjoyed the capsule but at the same time found it a bit of a hassle if I forgot something in the locker I would have to go down the elevator to get it Osaka also has everything and is a great city!
