I’ve been here before and it really freaked me out hearing the terramorph whisper to me. Initially I didn’t know wth was goin on. I’ve never experienced that in the game until this point. Very creepy

Ya know. Mine was super freaky. While fighting the fist terramorph, I got all kinds of spooky voice-acted lines - I thought it was a scripted event, but I guess not. I got spooky talking during the intense fight. Spooky make and female voices. Really made my experience intense - and added to the vibe and little story.

So I saw this video this morning. Paused it, then went to play the mission. I was pleasantly surprised by how creepy they made it. I wish there were more missions like this.

I did the same thing and yeah it was creepy. With headphones on every once and a while you would hear a creepy alien like sound. Itis something how we keep running into all of these little places after so many hours in game.

I want to know where Safe House Alpha and Beta, are. There probably aren't any bodies in them but that doesn't mean there wouldn't be any TerrorMorphs to deal with.

I wish there was more "rare" locations. After a while the cookie cutter locations have been run through so many times you have the locations of all the NPC memorized. I haven't bothered to count them all, but I'd be shocked it there was more than 20 base locations in the game.

I found this one by random chance fairly early one in my first playthrough. I spent a lot of time saying "What the ****?" and "Holy ****! Holy ****! Holy ****!"

I just started to play Starfield and was wondering if you have come across any locations with abandoned bunkers? There is a glitch one can do with a outpost beacons that lets players take over POIs and make them outposts. So I'm looking for any abandoned bunkers to make into military outposts. If you wish to learn this trick for yourself there is a video done by Standard Fries called StarField - How to Set Up An Outpost Beacon On A POI! (NO MODS)

If you adventure around on the first moon/planet you come to after leaving Vectera . You can find the terrormorphe that they were studying that ended up killing all of the scientists . It can be truly challenging trying to deal with a higher level alien creature like that . When you're only at level three , and have a gun that only deals 12 points of hit damage . 😂

If you collect the Radburn from Vectera, that would help with an early Terramorph.

Heh, I found that one in a heartbeat. It's level was super high compared to mine and I BARELY had enough ammo / health packs to kill it. I had to hide on the top of the tallest building and watch my helper die more often than a #6 Cylon. :p

I found this place when I was a newbie on my first playthrough and I just looted what I could and left all creeped out, never even seen the switch. I totally forgot about, I have to go back now.

Oh yes, I found this on my first play through, first time I dealt with terror morphs. When you turn the banging off, they come out.

That ship is a UC Vista, I think. I've been using one since around L40. Painted to look like a Search and Rescue hovercraft. Named mine Pew-Haul because Laser Turrets, Particle weapon, and Ballistics.

I love these locations, the problem is at a minimum every system should have a place like this, even better every planet should have at least one unique location like this which tells an on going story or something. I think Starfield will get there. I think they put this galaxy out there to us and over the next few years they are going to populate it.

Yeah literally no reason to explore. Every "dungeon" is the one of the same 10 base-maps

@@raymondamoroso2049 plenty of reasons to explore, there are many very unique locations in Starfield and there are way more then 10 locations. Starfield has way more unique content than Skyrim. Additionally, even the repeating POIs are not exactly the same because the loot changes as you go through the different level systems. Have you surveyed all the planets and moons? If not then you don’t know and haven’t seen even close to what’s out there….hence you better get exploring.

For me. Personally, the most heart touching moment was when I meet, deep in space, the Captain with the "lemonade-little-girl"... Her voice remember my own little girl voice, very touching moment, genial little detail from Bethesda - I love such little things who give this game that human face we all search for...

I found this a while back, but I was annoyed that all there was, was a Terramorph. The station is your typical identical looking station, and the tablets start to allude to a story. But in the end there's no story, just a terramorph sitting there. No long detailed quest in a subterranean cavern. It was over pretty quick. In fallout 4 there would be a quest line with this or puzzle to solve, or a mystery that spanned the entire map. This location just made me angrier at Bethesda for their laziness.

@@Qtomb3D There aren't as many star systems as they told us there would be. Of those star systems most are empty and the ones that aren't have a generic "abandoned something" labelled to it. Which is just another identical location. If you see a different sort of name then there's something different there but I don't think I've seen more than 5 of those. Mostly they're part of story quests that you'll get to anyway at some point. I swear this is the last time I buy a Bethesda game without seeing a years worth of "good reviews". What ever skills Bethesda may have had in the past its clear they're no longer any good at making games.

I played this area a long time ago and it gave "Gaaaaary" vibes at first. The SFX drive it real well, but it's kind of deflated when stuff starts happening.

I think you possibly, possibly, could've missed a thing or two by not exploring and opening everything in the location. Having said that, I'm going to find it as I'm tired of fighting level 5 and 10 Terrormorphs, they're to easy at level 110(does not matter what start system I go to, that is all I ever come across except for the ones during the UC Vanguard quest line).

Hint: Go solo when you leave the ship to explore. Companions like Sarah and Andreja don't know how to keep their mouths shut. I've hat to smack them with the but end of my rifle several times to shut them up, then I finally stopped taking them along with me. They make me sick with their mouthing off and stupid comments. "Do you really need all that junk" ; "is something amiss?" Sarah is too damned bossy. The dialogue team sure messed up on the companions dialogue. Next: by that stage in the game you should have come across an advanced hard target 50 cal sniper rifle and a 7.7 Beowulf. Mod them out in the workshop you should have installed on your ship....For terramorphs you should have collected the artifact that gives you the power of the sun.....hit them once with it and their health steadily drops while you hit them with the Beowulf at 30 armor piercing rounds per clip plus the high poser mod. You can try the advance Bridger with 40 mm explosive rounds, but it took me 25 shots to kill a Terramorph without using Solar Flare power. You could also use the Reactive Shield Power to protect you while you go through dozens of rounds of ammo to kill the Terramorph, but you will still need to use a few health packs to keep yourself from dying.

And how do you go solo? Simply dismiss them. They don't go away. They just go Constellation or some other location and wait to be called back into service. I have absolutely despised companions in this game. I'd rather go solo and be over burdened. The worse that happens to you is blurry vision and a loss of 95% of your health. And there is that one skill that when maxed out gives you a 40% increase in damage when going solo.

it's been in the game for a little while, but i'm sure if it was added with a patch or not. i think more POIs possibly open up when you hit certain levels, because i keep finding more and more things as i go and it's starting to feel like a lot of it is level based

Very few unique locations. "Space is meant to feel empty." So empty, that four civilian workers on a moon, and three of them do not realize one of them is missing. Or so empty that when a worker gets mad, there is another outpost a few hundred meters away. Almost no environmental story telling. Radiant missions are going to repeat but 1/2 of a Bethesda game is not there let alone the FNV where a vague mention of an unmarked quests includes a detail or nod to another hidden location, etc. A big deal is that Unity is just parallel universes but they are almost exactly alike, for millions of years. But that's why we cannot get our credits and things to a new universe. But it doesn't make sense. Nor could unity be different dimensions. But Bethesda could have made up their own existence explaining the different states or conditions of the different "worlds" where you could keep your investment in outpost and could keep your credits. So this liminal location is great but there are almost no more unique ones. The more you go, especially East to higher level planets, the fewer or less there is.

I agree to a certain level but I think some of the better unique locations are in the higher level systems, also the planets themselves are the “location”, there are some late game planets where it is pretty crazy just to survive while scanning it. Finally, I think that this galaxy will slowly be filled up over the next few years. They created this big open world to have a place to add content into. I hope anyways
