The Christopher ward with no seconds and manually wound is just stunning regardless of price. 2 hand watches with no date are so underrated. I didn't know about it. Fantastic pick

Thank you Armand, another excellent video. I completely agree with your comments on the Zenith El Primero; I've owned a 42mm tri-colour version for the last four years and I absolutely love it and come back to it more than any other watch I own. Funny thing is...........Now you Mention it in your video, I have never seen any one else wear the watch, only me!

+1 on the Sorrento from the Melbourne Watch Co (even though I'm a Sydney-sider :-). I've dived with it too - the different layers and textures in the dial and bezel make it suprisingly easy to read at depth; something I did not expect.

That was wonderfully enjoyable! The aesthetics of all the watches you presented were, well, outstanding, and widely various. I was just captivated by their beauty.

As always, Armand, I am impressed by your appreciation of and ability to describe watches at a variety of price points. It shows the soul of a true watch enthusiast. Thank you. I will add the Baltic HMS 001 to the list as a great value for the price time piece.

Now I have a favor to ask. Recently I bought Montblanc Star worldtimer GMT, the old model 106465. I am absolutely in love with it. When I was researching the model couldnt find much information about it but bought it anyway, as they say follow your heart. I did it and have no regrets. The finish is amazing, dial is stunning, it looks like a 10K watch with fraction of the price. Could you include this model into one of your videos next time? id like to know more about this watch. Thank you!!!!

Hey there. First thanks for your channel, I really enjoy it and you are one of very few watch guys that realize something important: we watch these videos to see the timepiece not the youtuber's face. most of hrology channels review watches with a few seconds of product photos and then you end up seeing the guys face for 10 minutes. Thank you, again, great channel. Hope you get more subscribers!!!!

Great Choices. Maybe worth considering Junghans for dress watches (the max bill is a nice dress watch competition for CW), Oris for sports watches (diving and also their superb pilot models, truly functional), and maybe Omega for Luxury watches. Many consider Omega as Entry Level Luxury, but the quality of their current models is often superior to mighty so called " luxury' Rolexes.... I pick/buy a sea-master any-day over a sub !! Keep up the great work, cheers !

Funny that Mark Lovich just a few hours ago posted a video about him offering Damaskus now :) And i really have to admit i quite like the Sorrento with the white dial. (Baeh still a diver) A Zenith El Primero is something i'd like to own, i kinda kind of can't live with the blue subdial though. Have fun times.

CW is very nice. The logo at 9 does not bother me in the least. Get over it. It's a lot better looking and the design origins makes a lot more sense than the Chr.WARD The Seiko Landmaster is one I've considered before. The large size doesn't put me off. I can wear a Tuna. I'm not too keen on how they squeezed the power reserve at the 4 between the date at 3 and 3 lines of text at 6. It, unfortunately, looks incredibly cluttered and busy in the dial's lower right quadrant to me. Perhaps if the power reserve was at the 8 or if the date was at the 9 may have balanced the layout of information around the dial a lot better. Other than that, for under $3k for a spring drive, it is a very good value with overall unique design/look.

Zenith el primero 38mm checking in. I completely agree about zenith (especially this model from them) being underrated. It is, in my opinion, the most tasteful option in their current lineup. The silver dial is a chameleon. In some lights it looks cream, others white, then it goes to champagne, and then pure silver. The sundials aren’t as sunburst as the renderings have you believe though. That said, it is part of my main rotation and don’t plan on parting with it anytime soon 👌🏻

Melbourne Watch Company is certainly a one to watch excuse the pun. It’s price is just right and the quality is equal to higher end watches when you mainly pay for the name basically watch snobbery, I recommend anyone to buy a MWC watch as they do feel well made and attention has been made on the finer details that finish off this brand perfectly 👌 im trying to save up for my next one. Well done Aussies, respect from the 🇬🇧

Seikos. I have 6.25'' wrist and wearing Seiko SBDC061 right now its a perfect fit even though its 44mm case. Seikos have lugs that curve down and hug your wrists not like TUdors which have flat long lugs. I cannot wear the 41mm Black Bays but can wear this Seiko Prospex. The 36mm Tudor BB is perfect. For something lower priced try Stowa Flieger 36mm or 40mm both work fine for me, I still have my Antea KS which I love.

Armand, the Melbourne Watch Company Sorrento is a very nice watch....BUT......this watch was sent out by the US watch subcription service Watchgang. It was a Platinum level watch for which members pay $299. Given that, the asking price seems rather high in my opinion. As lots of them went out to Watchgang subscribers. Many have appeared on eBay....for example one now is available for $360 new. Makes their asking price look ridiculous

The Seiko Landmaster Spring Drive SBDB015 nails it. There are better Damasko models and the others are unexceptional. Review a Guinand as a value proposition.

A Spring Drive Alpinist would be quite something! Although, the titanium case and Spring Drive movement without the GMT complication would make it a $2,500 (minimum) timepiece.

I would say that JLC merits consideration in this conversation, along the same lines as the Zenith, albeit with more sheer class. Like El Primero chronos, JLC is not underrated so much as underappreciated. We all know they're superb -- "the watchmaker's watchmaker", calibres supplied to all the big three, handmade parts on old machines they invented for the purpose, etc. Yet, we don't actually buy them, even as we happily pony up the same dough for lesser watches. I do it myself. Seems like JLC is always in the running, but when push comes to shove, I go another way. But a Master Control Calendar could be perfect as the next big one. Or maybe the one after that, because a stupid Rolex will elbow its way in and blind me.
