The Daytona 500 crash where Montoya hit the jet dryer is still, by far, the most bizarre accident I've ever seen in NASCAR.

I think the weirdest was when Dale Earnhardt Sr. hit the bird at full speed sending it's carcass debris all over the underside and inside the car. I know they found remnants in the trunk area around the fuel cell.

One of the craziest wrecks I remember was in the 2008 Coca-Cola 600. Brian Vickers' car lost its left-rear wheel, bounced off the hood of David Gilliland's car, and rolled into the infield spectator area.

Dave Marcis bouncing that high into the air off a concrete wall is crazy, I'm used to seeing that with SAFER barriers because it pushes you back, but to get that much off of solid concrete is a lot of force.

That Cup race at COTA in the rain was embarrassing. I was sitting right by the bridge in the esses. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I can't recall another Cup race that was called short due to rain at a road course.
