I am with and against her at the same time. She said (before the clips shown) that she really wanted to continue but the partner refused and said no. I dont think she is annoyed about the money she got but the fact that she didnt trust herself to go with the 250k. You could view as she "won" 21k but you can also view it as she "lost" 229k which seems a lot worse.

All depends on your POV - she picked the box with the 250,so it was hers from the start. If you play the game right through and refuse all the "deals" you take what is in your box. There have been those who won the 250, and they did it that way, stick with their box. We have also seen people leave with low amounts, including the 1p, when they could have "dealt" for a higher number. And inversely, those who did have a low blue, deal for a high number. So she already "won" the 250 by picking that box, She then "lost" it by dealing early for a smaller amount. Hence why she is so upset, when seeing it played this way. Essentially you don't actually "win" or "lose" anything in this game of No Skill. However she DID "win" 250K and swapped it for 21K.

Actually, if the offer to which you are referring is the £170,000, this situation has arisen once before ( in live play) , and IIRC the offer at that time was £175,000. It was turned down and the contestant won the £250,000.

Jake nah man regardless of that it was a bad deal That was an 8 box with 4 blues and 4 reds. Let’s do a little bit of probability and maths since that’s the only bit of skill possible here It now would’ve been a 1/2 shot in the next box being a red or blue because of that, and a one in four shot of it being 100 or 250k Well, ok technically it is. I mean I am gonna have to take into account one of those eight boxes is hers, in this instance the 250k. So on that basis there is one in seven shot she could hit the 100k in the next box The point is, if she didn’t have the 250, with the way the boxes were and the way it was 50/50 8 box, it is always worth another round because you can’t really go to shit unless you get really unlucky and get a round from hell. Either way, mathematically it was a bad choice and a bad deal. I wouldn’t have called that ending but I would’ve said at least one more round. 50+ plus was a decent amount of money and would’ve taken the edge off missing the quarter mil

I suppose you need to remember that offers are REALITY, the stuff on the board are amounts you COULD win. Given the board, it was prudent to deal at a respectable £21K. If she'd taken out even one of the big 2 in the following round (assuming she said no-deal), her offer would have been much less and would've effectively been a 1 box game. The fact she had the £250K in her box is irrelevant because she would not have known that during the game itself. Quite stupid of her to blame her boyfriend for swaying her to DEAL at £21K.

That is why you should take your own box at all times. You may win 1 dollar, you may win 250.000. Worst case you leave with pretty much what you walked in with, best case you get 250.000. If you deal you will always get a sum in the range of 1000 to 25.000 dollars. For me personally I prefer to take the best chance I would have to ever win that large sum of cash. I am happy with what I have already, 20.000 would not add that much. However getting the jackpot would be a very nice bonus.
