It's not a clay mask in the second video, it's a modelling mask. It's the same technique, but it's not meant to absorb impurities. It has the same effects as a sheetmask (keeping/adding hydration into the skin) minus the fabric. So you mix the powder with water and it creates a thick paste you then apply evenly; once it's dry, it's like a gel mask you can remove in one go. It's supposedly amazing, and I personally like that you create way less waste since there's no more fabric from the sheetmask (and no plastic surrounding it). It needs time though to really get the hang of it, since you need to apply it really evenly though (or else you'll end up with little bits stuck to your face that take forever to be removed).

Obviously my acne wasn’t gone but I then started using different face washes and things and tried to find a skin care routine. @mayyy51092 жыл бұрын
Cuz they shave the beard with a cream , so it doesn't really effect the skin + they do it to just remove the facial hair, mean while the ppl who do dermaplaning do it to exfoliate their skin so it does effect the skin :))

I def agree w the comments! Use an eyebrow razor. As long as you clean and sanitize ur razor after each use (for the next time) and change it out at the right time, it’ll be safe for skin. And go with the grain , not against it. Avoid anything u normally would if u were to shave or wax any other part of ur face and like , just hydrate rly well. Do it at night so that u can do a rly nourishing and calming treatment after if u want (coz daytime stuff with spf , makeup , etc can irritate freshly ‘razored’ skin). You’ll be just fine 👍🏼. Stuff works amazing💯

I’m curious, did you put makeup on your forehead shortly after you derma-planned? because I saw another comment that another person had a personal experience like that which caused the breakout and the girl in the video put on makeup shortly after as well so I’m thinking putting makeup on freshly exfoliated skin is what’s causing the breakouts because I personally derma-plane at night and put my skincare on after and it’s actually helped clear up my skin rather than doing the opposite but I mean everyone’s skin is different but it’s a theory

I think that's not a clay mask in the second one but I think that's a rubber mask which it helps to absorb all the products which is applied before it better

yeah, i completely agree with not dermaplaning. I broke out, i did it more than a year ago and it still has consequences on my skin

Do you have any opinions on the equate set thing, there's three products, a face wash, a toner, and a moisturizer. I've been using it for a while, but I was wondering if you had any other suggestions?

I learned about dermaplaining (or more like not doing ur own) the hard way!! for AGES I did it and I thought my acne was related to hormone imbalance when all along it was THAT. my skin is doing better now after 2 or 3 years, but only now did I connect the dots...

I would love your opinion on affordable brands: Acura, Bad Habit, and Naturium. I’m seeing these three brands a lot on instagram for having product dupes for more expensive, popular skincare.

Really liked how you described how fruit and veggies didn’t work as much as actual products

I effed up my skin by using a razor on my skin. Now I have scars, I will visit a dermatologist to see if I can do something about it. Basically what happened with her 13:01 happened to me 😖 In the meantime, what can I do to remove the scars ? It’s been 2 years and still have issues

Also the fact that most foods that we eat have acidic pHs even if it's not a lemon or citrus fruit so it's not the best thing to be putting on your face

Alginate masks are way better than the PVA glue masks. It's great to put over serums so it pushes it against your skin more. And a bit of surface hydration is also nice. More useful in salon use but fun at home too.
