Hi Marilyn. What a great reading month that you have had! You did a great job hosting March Mystery Madness and also honoring Janelle's memory. I have Tana French's new book on my list for the near future also. I'm so glad that you are liking Amanda Cross! There are plenty of books in the Kate Fansler series if you like this one! Have a lovely weekend, my friend!

Hi Pat, yes, it’s been a wonderful but hectic month. I tend to be overzealous when I host and Open my self up to stress. And I love Amanda Cross’s writing. Thank you so much for your kind support and for watching. Aloha friend.

You have so many older book titles and authors I've not heard of. I hope you have a fabulous April read and that it isn't as overwhelming. 🤗📚📚 march is madness on booktube. LOL

Thank you for your kind comments. I do tend to overdo things I prefer the older mysteries rather than the newer ones like gone girl, etc. now and again there is a good modern mystery but they’re few and far between. Hope you’re having a wonderful weekend. Aloha.

30 books!!! Amazing! So glad you discovered Amanda Cross! I've had a good MMM reading several historical mysteries in honor of Janelle - Peter Tremayne's Sister Fidelma and Susanna Gregory's Matthew Bartholomew have been good, and a debut book by Patrice McDonough was enjoyable. I look forward to your future videos!

Hi BJ, I’m so happy you read the historical mysteries Janelle loved so much. Have you read the Rabbi small mysteries by Harry Kimmelman? Someone on book tube recommended them. I enjoyed them very much and when you mentioned sister Fidelma, it brought that series back. It’s also very much of a 60s book. I’m going to put one or two historical mysteries on my TBR in the next couple of months. have a wonderful holiday weekend. Aloha friend.

@MarilynMayaMendoza Hi Marilyn! The Sister Fidelma historical mysteries are set in 7th century Ireland. I know so little about that period in history that I am finding them fascinating! I read the Rabbi Small mysteries back in the 80s and 90s and enjoyed them. I also really like Faye Kellerman's Peter Decker and Rina Lazarus series. Rina is Orthodox and the books have a good bit of Jewish customs in them. Both Sister Fidelma and the Faye Kellerman books will be most enjoyed when read in order.

@@bjminton2698 hi BJ, I have quite a few Faye Kellerman books on my shelves. I love her Peter Decker character. The world she creates is very familiar to me and I love it. I used to read Jonathan Kellerman. I don’t know if he still publishes his psychologist detective character. I will pick up Sister Fidelma and try a chapter or two. Have a wonderful holiday weekend if you celebrate. Aloha friend.

@@MarilynMayaMendozaThere are 35 books in the Sister Fidelma series. Absolution By Murder is the first one. Peter Tremayne is an authority on the ancient Celts. The series is supposed to be historically accurate fiction. I hope you can find the first one and that you enjoy it!!

@@bjminton2698 i’ll find it somewhere. I’ve had good luck on eBay for cheap books if I can’t find it at my library. But I want to read something that I know Janelle liked. By the way, she liked to book that we read together that I forgot to talk about called Pilgrims Rest by Patricia Wentworth. I don’t even remember what it was about except that it was a place and she loved it

Wow, you read so many books in March. Excellent. I will stay away from The Driver's Seat! :)

Hi Sonya, yes, I suggest staying away from that one but I’m reading another book by her loitering with intent and it’s really funny. Aloha friend.

Oh bummer, sorry that you didn't like Case Histories! I had such a different experience with it. You really read up a storm! I did read The Devotion of Suspect X and enjoyed it.

Hi Angelia, case histories had some good moments. I can see she is a good writer, but it didn’t work for me. Many of the newer mystery/thrillers don’t. I did like her detective though. Especially his name Jackson. That’s my partners name.😊. Aloha friend.
