I waited many years to play Mother 3, I refused to play it on anything but a handheld, but Nintendo refused to localize it anywhere so I just waited. Now I'm finally playing it on my Steam Deck, so I made this to celebrate. I still haven't finished the game, but I know this song is really special and contains many other themes within it, so I hope I did it justice. It's one of my favorites from the game, along with Monkey's Delivery Service and Snowman!

Okay, first of all This is so beautiful! The ethereal notes tied with angelic hums and a sprinkle of chirping birds gives a unique take on the soundtrack :O But more than that, I think you pulled a unique take on the song and elevated a symbolic meaning on the game's ending with this remix [spoilers ahead] I imagine this seemingly innocent music in contrast to the apocalyptic imagery that we saw on the end. In addition to that, it felt as if the one that's been humming was Lucas, singing his one last wish as he accepted his built-in trauma and moved forward in life by pulling the last needle. Thanks for sharing this!

phantasmagoric: like a dream. this is really well done it captures the ethereal and dreamlike quality of the ending mother 3 in a magical way. feels like the ending to a epic tale. (which it is)

This is one of the most beautiful rearranged pieces from a video game I've heard in a long time. I've been going down an Earthbound rabbit hole and I'm so glad I found this, you did the song so much justice 👌It's so ethereal and pretty; I could listen to it forever. Out of curiosity, is this available for purchase/streaming/download anywhere ?

Fantastic remix, these instruments work wonders with this composition. The way that the main melody switches from synth to synth somewhat reminds of another song from the game, "Fairies (Neckbeard Recommendation)", though I might just be saying that because that's another one of my favorite tracks.
