CPS/DCS whatever you want to call them, they don't care. They claim they're constantly short staffed and they never follow up on calls. I know a woman who still has custody of her children even though she's had more than 50 documented reports to them about her abuse. They've never done anything other than take the kids away for a few days. The courts assist in this crap because they believe that the biological parents will always be best even when they are not. Blame the courts and the system.

I can't even stand to be in the car for 5 minutes on a hot day. I can't imagine how much she suffered. They said they found her on the floorboard, so she was trying her hardest to get help for herself. A typical 12 year old could have just opened the door and gotten out. With her disability, she had to have been fighting till her last breath to get out of that situation. May she be at peace and able to run and jump to her hearts content, wherever she is.

I agree. My college roomie and ex-fiance had CP and as a preemie myself with eyesight issues I thank God for my folks and theirs that worked to make sure we got an education. We were born before many schools let kids with disabilities go to public school. I went to a private church school for four years. Even with bad eyesight I literally was years ahead of so called " normal" kids. And my roomie and fiance were straight AB students too. But the bigotry from teachers was ridiculous.

My mother told me when I was 3 I actually locked myself in my dad’s truck while playing outside. He tried to tell me how to unlock the doors by pulling those little bars up on the side but I was being a kid and not listening and he lost his shit within minutes and busted out the back window to crawl through and grab me.
