I didnt wanna smoke weed for YEARS (I'm only almost 24 btw, so not too terrible 😂) but, in February, me and my bf had a really big fight/argument. I have asperger's, depression and anxiety.. and probably more lol, so as youd probably assume, it caused my depression and anxiety to go into over drive, not only did I start smoking weed but I also started vaping, but with nicotine... without ever smoking before. For anyone who wants to know, me and my bf did break up buuut.. 2 days after we broke up he texted me and came over 😂 we've been working together on our relationship since then. He has, however, moved... TO ALASKA 😑😭 to teach. It's been about 2 and half months since I saw him ( you can just feel my stress radiating off the screen 😂 ) we do talk everyday, which helps. We have gone at least a few hours without texting though 😂

This is a problem with a lot of autism research. Cannabis can help some people with autism, but it can also make some people worse. If you have a study with 100 autistic patients taking medical marijuana, with 10 people getting better and 10 people getting worse, then you end up with the botched conclusion that cannabis isn't an effective treatment for autism.

The reality, and scientific consensus, is that it doesn't help conventionally. Cannabis is typically ineffective at permanently treating autism. That doesn't mean it hasn't worked historically - When conventional methods fail, cannabis is one of the first fringe methods considered for treatment because of the gamble of permanent neurological change by flooding cannabinoid receptors for the first time. It is for the same reasons that psilocybin is on the forefront of mental health research, because it creates new neural pathways and reduces the prediction accuracy in redundant sectors which over time completely modifies the structure of the brain. Basically anything can happen with psychoactive/mind altering interventions.
@クリス-j8y8 ай бұрын
To say, there is no scientific evidence, as a reason to not use cannabis, is just pure bullshit. Because how the hell do you expect any evidence on something which has been prohibited for so many years. Speaking from a research point, we are years behind. There could have been so much research happening worldwide, which hasn't happened plainly because of the prohibition. Therefore having no evidence doesn't mean there is no effect, unfortunately everyone needs to try for themselves! The other option would be to wait, years to come, until such research happens. If it even happens. Not so much money to make on a plant which anyone can grow with no bigger company making profit out of that (and research is actually quite expensive too).

The reason why there are now over 30 states allowing medicinal marijuana and eight that legalized it is that in 1988 the DEA's own Administrative Law Judge Francis Young ordered the DEA to move Cannabis from Section One of the Substance Control Act and place it in Schedule Two so that it could be prescribed by a physician. The DEA ignored his ruling. How could they do this? That's what the States asked too and never got a straight answer. But that is par for the course for the DEA.

It changed everything. I was able to fit in and be happy for the first time since I was a little kid. My social skills improved, and I could understand people so much better. I finally had the initiative and clarity of mind to do a lot of things I always wanted to do. It's God's perfect medicine, is what it is to me.

"The State Health Dep. warns that it can be harmful." But giving them large amounts of meds 3 times a day is ok!

The difference is that those medications are properly tested. Marijuana based medicine is lagging behind, and large scale studies should have been done ages ago. But it is dangerous. Like, the way this great mother prepares her son's medication is really bad, and the doses will be so different for each batch. Is it the THC that helps? Then why give everything from the plant? Is it something else in the plant? Then, why give the THC? I don't blame her. It is the safest way she has. It just sucks that she can't get a prescription with proper, controlled amounts of the active substance that helps her child.

@@japphan A month ago the CDC warned people to stop taking aspirin daily. Several years ago the CDC admitted that OTC pain meds were harmful to the liver and kidneys. Keep in mind that some of these people take up to 20 pills 3 times a day.

@@Mr.Shartly Exactly. Imagine if they took the equivalent of 60 pills in plant infused oils, instead of the 60 pills, where the non-active substances are removed. Then, the kidneys and liver would be taxed even harder.

One day this will be normal. The federal government can change this globally.
