She is a bad mom. Instead of asking her daughter first what was going on, she just assumed there was cheating and even called in the 'aggrieved party'. What if OP's boyfriend had a short temper or was violent? I am a mom of 3, my default instinct is to protect my kids first and sometimes when my kids do wrong, I have to suppress myself from thinking they are perfect angels in order to look at the situation objectively, so I don't understand why this mom's default is thinking her daughter is a bad person.

Step family’s are tough , I have two step brothers and a blood sister , and tbh we are all fine as adults but as a kid we didn’t get on (I was the youngest by a lot ) so having all these older people in my life that where too busy for me kinda made it hard to connect , but that kid has a right to how he feels and his mother shouldn’t be trying to force him to be something he doesn’t want to be

Story 1: Ok, my big question here is why the mother immediately thought the OP was cheating and not doing something for her artwork? Do people just see anything and everything that looks little awkward or different as immediate cheating nowadays? Also, why did the mother do this at a dinner like that? Dont you think she'd confront the OP privately first, or maybe even right after the fact? I think the mom needs to do more then just simply apologize here. Story 2: I dont think the OP did anything wrong here either and is not a jerk. If the neighbour was away, maybe they could've told someone that they were going away. The OP had the right idea and did everything with the best of intentions. As for the cops here, they are not jerks either. I get banging on the door like that at 1AM can be very annoying for everybody, but if they receive a welfare check like that and they can't get ahold of someone right away or anything, they have to do whatever is necessary to see if that person is alive or injured or worse. Story 3: OP is not a jerk at all. Emily is just being a complete drama queen and jerk, and she, along with anyone else who took her side, deserved to be uninvited from the OP's wedding. Even if the OP did know the date of Emily's baby shower, it wouldn't be "stealing her thunder" or whatever. That is just a stupid excuse to cause family friction, and she is the one who is selfish and unreasonable. Story 4: No way is the OP a jerk here. Ayone who is complaining about Emma being there are just morons and they need to shut up and maybe not show up. Now, if Emma was just there being annoying and distracting, then maybe they'd have a legit point, but she seems to be legit involved with the DND nights and a lot of people seem to like her being there... so why ban her? The people complaining are just territorial morons and you dont really need them as customers. Maybe get their very own game day on weekends or something or just go elsewhere and leave Emma alone. Story 5: OP is not a jerk at all. Do not EVER tell someone to tell the truth, then get mad at them for telling the truth. That makes the stepsister the jerk here, and big time. You can't force anyone to be a family like the way the stepsister is with her son and 'new family' and i think that she's pushing her son away here.

Story 2: Do the police realise every situation doesn't need an overreaction or escalation? I firmly believe that most issues between the police and communities would be solved if the police would calm down and think through issues using logic. Its like they were trained to make situations worse than how they got them. Gosh!

So... story 2, I can't blame them that they called the cops. My boyfriend's parents' neighbor, a man barely in his 50s, died on his couch. None of his kids could contact him, so they called his tenant (who lives in a separated MIL suit on the property), and she couldn't get a response from inside. She came over while we were visiting his parents to ask if anyone had seen him, but the cops had to be called to get into the house. They didn't kick the door in, though.

She is a hateful mother. Even the worst of Karens' 1st instinct is to think their kid is perfect and good. That's how most mothers react. I am asking myself why this woman's reaction is to put her child in a potentially dangerous situation. Is she a step-parent? Does she hate her child? Her reaction is not normal at all.

This is why I do not play D&D, crazy things always happens. If you're the Host aka Dungeon Master, then it's YOUR Rules. And if no one can agree to those Rules, then they can just join someone else's. I mean, Emma isn't doing anything bad, so why try to fix something that isn't even broken? As for the Last Story - Op did exactly what the Step-Sister wanted, and she's pissed at Op for doing EXACTLY what she wanted them to do? I swear, you cannot please ANYONE these days.

With the wedding thing...who plans a wedding four or five months out? Most people plan their wedding a year out. How could anyone anticipate a baby shower a year out? She wouldnt even be pregnant at that point. The who story has to be made up. 15:48

Story #4 - It is not easy to DM. The amount of things you have to make up on the fly can easily be double the session content of what you have planned. We don't get a measure of how old Emma is, but Id assume at least 12-14 with at least 3 years experience. I have only DMed a few times for short missions, and things got crazy. TL;DR - I think Emma is only a kid in age, not maturity.

The fact that she's probably 13 (given that she had started at 10 and it's been three years) and is only *now* having complaints says more about those complaining than her. She's DMing for free. And is more than just good at it. Without her, they don't even have a DM. If they really want to role play 🦆 ing each other so bad, or ruining the story by being murder hobos, then they can rent a DM. Or do online campaigns. Or DM on their own! She's doing this for free, because she loves sharing the world's she creates, yet they would rather ruin game night and not have a DM at all. And the fact that she's most definitely a teen by this point is even worse! Teens are the owners main demographic. What's he supposed to do? Go out of business after banning teens from game night?

The d&d story is not the asshole. D&d is a game for everybody and a bunch of other people who admit they cannot have fun without being bow mouthed or adult do not have the right to tell the proprietor of the location to not allow a player just because she's young. The game is for everyone and it sounds like the store is for everyone that either need to adapt to it or find some other place to play

OK how are you see you can know someone does art and seen that they do draw characters like the original poster and stream number one was saying. Directional poster did say I wanted the times it’s anime so maybe that’s what the mother just knew that or us have seen so far just the anime side of it. I don’t understand the narrator, and like how do you stories what’s the standard for the stories? Because like a story number one showed up later in a video it feels like. how everyone just kind of laughed it off because there was a misunderstanding. He would’ve probably been laughing if it was a story later in the video, but this one, since it’s in the number one spot, it feels like it was being more judgmental of it and he’s always more judgmental of the number one story again not trying to be rude.
