The author says he is the "collective consciousness of several different people from pasts that never happened." In other words, he's telling us he's a writer. That's exactly what fiction authors do. He's not lying or delusional.

I was once in a dream, contemplating something i didnt wanted to see happen, cus i knew where the nightmarish stile was going. still. In that part, i saw a portal, and another down that portal aligned diagonally. A kid got swallowed by one side, and tosed into the other portal, each time being more a pile of organs, than a kid. And in another part of my dream someone stabbed me, but i didnt died bc she stabbed a bar of soap, soft green soap. i was in junior hight, so 12 more less maybe?

Gabbi, help me; I met Babalon. She grabbed a bible and flipped it open, then pointed at a particular passage: Mark 10:8. I read it, and she demanded that I say it aloud so that the world could hear deep inside of them what was to come. In a rapturous voice that couldn't have been my own, I sang: "And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh!"

Henry Fielding was brilliant. Isaac Newton was brilliant. A creepy-pasta conspiracy-theory ARG that's set up to usher in some dude's horror stories... not so much. All the author really did was randomly plant disgustingly gory stories in non-horror forums. The dude who made the singing wall bass has more vision and intelligence. This isn't even good horror, it's just gorn strapped together with nutty conspiracy theories.

I remember seeing this obscure webcomic on 4chan like 10 years ago about a guy wakes up one night and finds a nightmarish figure eating his cat. He follows it into this insane lovecraftian nightmare dimension where everything is impaling and cannibalizing each other. he transforms into this grotesque thing with eyes and tentacles all over his body and I don't remember much else but in the end he returns to his house and eats his cat, so I guess it was some kind of time loop ordeal. It was extremely bloody and gory, basically DyE - Fantasy in comic form and one of greatest things I've ever read. I have no idea who made it or where to find it but these horse eyes texts reminded of that curious unnerving atmosphere in that comic.

As a lover of Lovecraftian Horror, let's be real here - I am about 85% certain that "mother horse eyes" is a really veiled and oblique reference to Shub-Niggurath, one of the Outer Gods in the Cthulhu Mythos. Her whole thing is being known as "The Mother" or "The Black Goat with a Thousand Young", and the usage of wording in _9MOTHER9HORSE9EYES9's posts correlate this. This was always a piece of Lovecraftian metafiction, and actually, a not half bad one.

there was something oddly satisfying about MHE's last "out of character" comment - regardless of how you interpret the narrative and of what degree of truth you put in the "author character", sticking to this ARG-ish, mysterious format where you constantly try to subvert the audience's suspension of disbelief has the obvious downside of it being difficult to impossible to actually take credit, as a writer, for the work you've created, let alone get compensation out of it. So for the author to drop the persona for a second to announce "this is my work and I'd like to publish it" is kind of a relief - you can appreciate MHE's posts or not, but there's no doubt that a lot of effort was put into them and it's good that he plans to get something out of it beyond being a nebulous internet urban legend - we all enjoy weird shit hidden in the forgotten corners of the internet, but being an entry in a creepypasta wiki doesn't pay the bills.

I dunno, that sudden 180 when he addresses his followers and he's like, "Nah man, I'm just 30 and drunk all the time", that sounds like the government found him, hauled him away, and posted as him to gaslight people into thinking he made it all up.

it sounds to me more like he was writing for fun, it became bigger than he was expecting it to, he ended up getting an editor helping him write it in the form of the Reddit mod. And so then he decided to try and write a book using what he did when he was finished. But it doesn't sound like it went anywhere.

This is a pretty madlad rabbit hole. What started as a War of the Worlds style blurring of fiction and reality in some peoples' mind turned into a genius, engaging text-based trailer for a Lovecraftian story. This is what Reaper's Creek would be if it fully committed to something. Oh, how proud I am that I can say all of that.

he'd make a good viral marketer. people who don't usually read fiction and hang out on reddit think it's high-quality writing. but publishers get flooded with this kind of stuff all the time, except usually it's been polished through and through for years, gone through agents, professional workshops and editing, etc. his work is basically still in draft.

Mike Peck from what I've asked from one of my friends whos on the level of intellect. Its more than likely a recruitment program from various possible agencies looking to find people smart enough to employ. Basically if you're legitimately a genius and decide to follow through with all their cryptic bs you get a decent job and you're never allowed to mention it again. How accurate this is, is uncertain. But from what it sounds like, Its that. It would have to be some large scale agency to be able to scatter the cryptic bs across countries. It wouldn't be some creepy death cult Cicada 3301 would be an interesting topic. However creepy death cults are probably more interesting and I'd like to see something about a death cult.
