this has been going on for years and ignored by wayne county juvenile court and the state - I personally know someone that worked some years back with a number of boys there where several told my friend that if they 'misbehaved' according to staff, including talking to someone about things that happened in the facility, they would be given an injection(s) that would literally knock them out for a day or two - abuse and sexual abuse was the norm by other inmates and certain staff members even back then - however if 'allegations' were always denied and the victims paid dearly for seeking help - such incidents also occurred in the adult mental facilities until the state closed all of them, placing the occupants into the general communities for the most part - for years the majority of communities have had little to no knowledge of what really goes on behind locked doors and too many of the people that suffered have been reluctant, embarrassed or fearful to speak -

All Wayne County Lock ups Understaffed. Also guards smell like whiskey at 8 am downtown and don't hesitate to use excessive force. Been there once
