Yep, this is the one I use to sooth my migraines. I had just run across the girls a couple days prior, watched every last official video on their channel multiple times, made my first iTunes purchase EVER (and first money spent on new music in DECADES) when I called up a friend of mine who had played guitar professionally in Japan back in the 90s. "Dude, I just found THE MOST AMAZING Japanese band! and they're all girls! and all dressed up li...." "Oh, you found Band-Maid, here, let me send you a link" ONSET. I swore I had no idea it could get any more amazing than what I had already listened to.

Some don't give Miku enough credit. Not only did she envision the concept, but she realized she wasn't the strongest singer and got Saiki. She fell dropped to backing vocals, and learned to play rhythm guitar to double those as well. And, in addition to being the spokes-pigeon and tireless promoter for the band, she writes the lyrics too. Never slight her, po.

Band Maid is coming to Mansfield, Ohio for the Inkcarceration Festival 2020. It is from July 10th, 2020 to July 12th, 2020. This is only about an hour and a half plane ride from Atlanta. You should definitely check it out. They are sure to be the crowd favorite. About 40 bands will be performing including blink-182, Weezer, Papa Roach, Limp Bizkit, Puddle of Mudd and many more. I will definitely be there. Hope to see all the Band Maid fans there.

To answer your question at 5:25 "You ever hear something you love so much that makes you go grazy and smile?" I think you just got a glimps into what they people experienced in the 1964 when "Beatlemania" swept the world. The last time I watched a musicvideo this often was when Coldplay released "Life In Technocolor II" I am not a huge Coldplay-fan, but that song is really, really ... really good. (!) Also the videoclip was amazing. But "Onset (Saiki Pee Break Song)" is an amazing song. It also makes me crazy and smile! So you are not alone!

Oh, how I waited for you to react to this one! After watching probably all of their songs by this point this one still continues to blow my mind. This song truly lets the four players shine. Kanami is an absolute goddess when it comes to playing guitar in my opinion. And the thing is that that is only one of the instruments that she can play. But my favorite moment is Akane's little drum part at 05:00 for some reason I just love that part.

Honestly, it sometimes is! That's why some players use stuff like tape markers on the back of guitar necks and glow-in-the-dark side markers on the fretboard or whatever else.

Personally, on my custom I got a completely blank black ebony fretboard with only an inlay at fret 12 (the octave) and white dots as side markers. It was OK with stage lighting and off course it helps to have practiced your stuff well. I'm sure there are more "visible" guitars though ;)

They will in the US this year, they are booked for a festival in Ohio. Haven't seen any other dates yet. They are signed with Live Nation, more dates this time I hope. A lot of interviews popping up on KZbin with English Subs, Miku gave away that MISA has the best body in the group, not sure I really wanted to know that. @@ixachilanca On July 11th Inkcarceration 2020 held at the Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield which was also the prison used for the movie the Shawshank Redemption. The prison was shut down in 1990. It has shops, restaurants, and bars inside the old prison and large grounds for concerts. Free tour of the prison with paid admission. I was told 40,000 attended last year. This will make even the largest crowds they have played to seem small in comparison. Zepp holds 10,000 or so. And someone will correct me if l am wrong. Hope that helps.
