I should point out that we mustn't excessively tax or restrict acess to firearm materials. Doing so would be counter to good neighborly relations. You might as well start taxing abortions excessively or free speech or jury trials. Taxing bullets/clips excessively would effectively negate the Second Amendment so to do so would be considered unconstitutional. It would make it harder for the good people in this country to keep themselves effectively armed. I think you need to find something better to do than dream up ways of creating barriers for people to exercise their personal liberties. You should instead put your energy into serious law enforcement. You should advocate for the execution of illegal aliens on their 2nd illegal entry to the States. You should advocate for longer jail sentences for those that do illegal violence with execution upon conviction of their 2nd offense. You should advocate for execution for those that are found guilty of burglary on their 3rd offense. The thieving aggressive violent types should be in jail or executed so that us mild-mannered folk can go around without having to walk around on eggshells for fear that we piss the wrong person off. Oh, one more thing - those who commit violent crimes with guns should be executed. Who will stand with me and help legislate this into existence? We need more guns in the hands of law abiding citizens. There's too many people that are happy to make the world a softer place for those that would trespass against us individually. Instead we need active and vigorous law enforcement against the illicitly aggressive violent types. Jail, execute, or exile them until the streets and neighbohoods are empty of those that trespass against others.

I thought her story would conclude with banning guns, and I was disappointed, but then she turned it around, that EVERYBODY should be able to defend themselves. Gun control laws simply don't work and to think that felons will just turn in their guns just because there are gun control laws is absolutely ridiculous. For anyone who may think she is specifically referring to "race", she's not really saying its specifically about "race". What she's saying (or how I'm understanding it) is the areas which things like this are mostly occurring practically on a daily basis. Think southside Chicago, Atlanta, Philadelphia, New York, St. Louis (my home city; mainly East St. Louis, and North St. Louis to be precise, is where this happens). There is a correlation. These places typically have the most stringent gun laws, yet typically have the highest rate of gun related homicides. And the majority of the demographics are the Black American population. The only thing gun laws affect are (law abiding citizens); the criminals couldn't care less, because they're criminals. In the following scenario, step into the mind of a crazy future mass shooter, and you have two choices on which building you want to enter and attack: Choice #1: The school/compound that has a sign saying something like "Pro-2A, Firearms carrying/trained staff onboard" Choice #2: The school/compound that has a sign saying "Gun free zone". Which choice do you think the crazy mass shooter is gonna go for? They would only go for choice #1 if they're suicidal and/or have a death-wish. They would clearly go for choice #2 since the most likely outcome is a school/compound full of unarmed, easy targets; basically sitting ducks. This isn't rocket science people. These laws have not, are not, and never will be about "our safety and security", or "stopping the violence", etc. It is, always has been, and always will be; about power and control over the populace. If it wasn't for our 2A, (that they will never stop at trying to take away), we would most likely already have had our own version of the "Tiananmen Square Massacre." That sound too crazy and far-fetched? I'm sure the Chinese citizens thought the exact same thing in June 1989. There will always be criminals among us, and they are becoming more crazy by the day, and will want to harm other people for any reason, and/or they just want to watch the world burn. If you cant rely on yourself and others around you to protect yourself lawfully and Constitutionally in self-defense, then you've already lost that battle before it began. No first responder will ever be more optimal or effective than a well trained/armed law-abiding citizen, and/or a "good-guy/gal" with a gun at the right place at the right time.
