Allie Sherlock, much better with her diverse portfolio and range, is a songwriter and media star at the young age of sixteen. She began performing in Dublin at the tender age of nine. Like Angelina, Allie "owns" this song by sheer talent, fullest effort, and a precocious endearment to her fans. We shall see who will be the superstar gone global in the next ten years. By the way, Miss Sherlock is also a musician favoring both guitar and piano when performing solo, in ensemble with street musicians, and her band The Three Busketeers where she is solo vocalist.

@@williamhyer9114 It's grand that humans by their various natures prefer "this"or "that"". It would be a very boring existence otherwise. I have listened to Allie Sherlock on numerous occasions and acknowledge that she is talented and deserves to be well known. However, we must differ as to which one is the most versatile and puts the most effort into a performance. However, in my opinion, there is no other singer who is able to communicate all the emotions of a song to her listener as Angelina does on every song she sings. As to Allie being a media star at the age of sixteen, "Good on her". Angelina and her family decided, when she won Norway's Got Talent, that the priority would be that she have as normal a childhood as possible, with the emphasis upon her education. Despite very tempting offers being offered to her over the years, they have been resolute in keeping to the plan. Republic Records, with whom she is signed, agreed that there would be very little promotion until such time as Angelina and the family considered themselves ready. Hence, her low public profile at present.

I listened to Adele's version several times. She is a fantastic writer and has a beautiful voice as well technically skilled but I didn't connect to the song. To me she sounded very robotic as if it was another chore to do and cross off her list. The first time I listened to Angelina singing this song, I was overwhelmed with emotions. I felt every word as she took me away on a journey to her world. Maybe because I've been following her since the time that she was 7 years old and watched her progress from one level to another and I feel like a proud grandpa. My eyes still tear up every time I listen to her. Thank you ladies for your reactions.

My feelings exactly. Adele sings it beautifully, but she had never brought me to tears. I cried the first time I heard Angelina sing this, and have repeatedly other times I've heard her. Unlike any other singer, Angelina perfectly emotionally interprets songs and uses her prodigious vocal talets to hit you in the heart with her interpretation.

David, you are right on the money with your review of Adele and Angelina, I too think Angelina has the ability to sing any song directly to the audience and be able to inject her emotions through the lyrics directly into each individuals heart, overwhelming them while transporting them on the journey of the song. I have never in all my life had another singer make me feel the music and understand the emotions of the lyrics as Angelina does to me.

For me, I find Adele's version sad while Angelina's sounds hopeful. Republic Records is already promoting her, they are laying a solid groundwork, her first album under Republic Records should be out soon, the problem has been coronavirus, she had to cancel several live performances over the last 2 years.

@@nfpnone8248 Republic is doing what Angelina's family requested, allowing her as normal a childhood as possible and I think that is awesome. I don't know of any promotion Republic has done so far and again that is fine. I know Angelina has a couple concerts scheduled for next summer in Norway (rescheduled from this past summer). Time will tell when an album is released. As much as I want new songs, I am fine with letting Angelina mature even more first.

Mother is correct. "Be careful" every singer out there needs to sit up and take notice, because this young lady is serious about singing for the world, and she'll add emotion, grit, soul or whatever else she feels it needs to make the song her own, and in my biased opinion, better than the originals. 15 years old and doing this with Adele's newest release. Die hard Adele fans won't admit how good she is, my daughter is one of them. I got her to watch this and her reply was, "It's OK". No one can truthfully watch this and just say, "It's OK". I'd be willing to bet that every thumbs down on any of these reactions are from jealous fans of another singer. Great job to the two of you! I'd love to see you two do more of this young lady. Between listening to Angelina sing this again, and watching both of your faces, I was wiping happy tears from my eyes.

Mother, I think you nailed it. Adele is great, and a great songwriter, and her delivery is powerful and emotional. Angelina can match that power and emotion, but she adds her jazz-influenced riffs and runs, and we hear those stunning, different textures of her voice. Adele is an amazing performer. Angelina is a singer more than a performer. She connects to each of us individually. Angelina has amazing vocal talent, and the flexibility of her voice across so many different genres is something I’ve never heard anyone else do.

A beautiful song written by a incredible artist Adelle. It was the fitst recording for her in 6 years. It was written about her divorce. Angelina sings it in a way that other people can relate it to many things in there lives. From the very first line Angelina made it her own but still pay respect to the original. Hello there my beautiful, classy ladies😊 I really enjoy your reactions to Angelina, they are so much fun to watch. You know, I heard your comment about the high notes she hits in this cover, and I just HAD to check if the two of you actually haven't reacted to her cover of Whitney Houston's "I Have Nothing" at age 12. And guess WHAT ??? You haven't ! It's quite tempting to say "shame on you", but I would never dare to say such a thing to you of course. However, I think the time is almost overdue that you react to it. It will 100% guaranteed take your breaths away, trust me on that. As you have heard and understood by now, Angelina normally never belts, as she doesn't have to do that to get her interpretations and feelings through. But that particular song really requires it, and I have a strong feeling that she chose to cover it to show those evil tongues claiming that she COULDN'T belt, otherwise. I've listened multiple times to both Adele's and Angelina's versions, and at first I didn't think Angelina's was necessarily better. After multiple listings however, I prefer Angelina's. Which is pretty par for the course as I usually prefer her covers to Adele's originals.

This is Adele Plus. Angelina adds subtle tasty adornments in all the right places, and notably, she whispers the line "go easy on me" a number of times with makes it intimate and vulnerable, which is in keeping with the lyric. Her version is just more engaging than Adele's, which is already great.

Our tiny little girl with the grownup voice was 17 on Jan. 10, 23 and is now 6'1" tall and could be a super model, but I hope the major portion of her career will be dedicated to her music and taking the world to a better place. I don't think she even realizes this power she holds over us and the need to hear that signature voice to fill that empty void within all of us. Angelina Jordan is in fact the "Benchmark" for all other vocalist to try as they might to achieve. I have a number of pictures of celebrities whose height is known, for example, Austin Butler, who played Elvis, is 6ft tall, and AJ published a picture of her standing next to him, she was at least 1 inch taller than him, and she had to look down at him.

As good as Angie already is, it is mind-blowing that she created this. So good it is life changing! Her vocal gymnastics endlessly taunting ones soul, pulling and prying deeper and deeper into the very fibre of the being. Unbelievably she has shown new tones that somehow resonate through the listener with a calming sense of peace and love. The trade mark stunned silence of awe, admiration and love are here in spades when she finishes. This one will take thousands of playings to get all the vocal genius she displays. And as usual I always get the feeling, when she is done, that she humbly smiles and goes out to play. Mother, your insights always demonstrate a world of experience and passion that very very few reactors can articulate. There are of course two things wrong with this video. It was too short and now we have to wait so long for the next Angelina reaction.

I'm really happy to see you two again reacting to our wonderful princess, Girls thank you for your usual amazing and funny reaction (I loved your mutual looks 😝). I love the ability that Angelina had to immerse herself in the soul of the song, with her usual naturalness and I appreciated her unique and fascinating way of giving it to us. As I loved also the way she wanted to reassure us about her grandmother's health, she did it with infinite delicacy and sweetness, their heads side by side almost counterbalancing the detachment that Adele writes about in the song. Easy On Me Both Angelina Jordan and Adele are under the Republic Records umbrella, 12 hours after Adele released "Easy On Me," this video was dropped on the internet by AJ, and Adele has seen it. Adele wrote the song with its producer, Greg Kurstin, and it is about a broken marriage and a mother trying to explain to her son why it is happening. You have to ask yourself how a 15-year-old Angelina Jordan could do this song justice and give it the emotion it deserves? Here again, AJ takes on the impossible and makes it a classic as she always does.

Your reactions are like watching a drama unfold...captivating really! Hahaha! Love it! Anyway, as for your reaction to Angelina's performance, I agree with most of your commentary. I have been waiting for your to do this, by the way. Adele's point in writing this song was to explain in song to her son the backstory to the divorce. So it was an extremely personal piece. Her performance follows this purpose. Angelina's performance has a different impetus. She has not experienced divorce, and although you might say she could emulate the emotions of this experience, I don't think that is a good explanation. Angelina habitually injects appropriate emotion into lyrics, because the lyrics demand it. In whatever song she sings, she senses the emotions that go with the words and phrasing of the original. She usually respects the original artist and song, but she reinterprets the emotional content using her own style. And she does this using a minimum of just her voice and piano or guitar. She has done a lot of live performances, of course, with bands. She has consistently arranged her own take on the phrasing and emphasis of a song to wonderful effect. In the performance at hand, I feel she intensifies the emotions of Adele's song using her unique vocal dynamics and style. It is not done for the sake of drama, but for the sake of revealing the intensity of the feelings in the lyrics. Adele plucks the heart strings, Angelina pierces the soul. When I hear Angelina's performance I feel it deep inside my, dare I say, ...gut! I grab the edge of my computer table and hold on with both hands, my finger nails pressing against the surface. It is visceral...just saying! Anyway, I ALWAYS enjoy your reactions...I watch them over and over! Stay safe and healthy. I look forward to your instagram posts. Well done I enjoyed both your explanations of Angelena moving the us. I agree both Adele & Angela are amazing musicians in there own right. They are are on par with each other. Angelina is an A-Maz-zing singer who, not only covers a song, but does so in a way that is very tastefully...showing Respect.. she doesn't just sing the song...she embodies the lyrics..placing her own interpretation on the song with such Emotion...paying Homage to the original Artists. Thank you ladies for another great reaction to Angelina Jordan. Angelina has been singing Adele songs since she was 5 years old, singing Rolling in the deep when a visitor came to her grandma's home. Adele has written some fantastic songs, that somehow, resonate with Angelina. Adele wrote about her divorce and the relationship with her son, obviously Angelina has no experience of this kind of thing, but she certainly made some really big choices when she was very young - maybe she feels that she has not been able to achieve her goals as yet, but she is trying very hard to do so - we should go easy on her - success is bound to come soon...

Oh, my, you two are the greatest! Ha! I just subscribed because of your wonderful back and forth. You made us laugh and were still able to talk about the incredible video and how you were moved. I think one can not ignore the writer of the song, Adele, is amazing just for the writing! And she is one of my favorite all time vocalist. But Angelina's voice is something beyond, something never really heard before (well. maybe even compared to her earlier stuff -- funny to say about a fifteen year old!) Glad to see you back with an Angelina, even if you are quite far away this time. From the camera, that is! Anyways, very good songwriting on Adele’s part. When is comes to the performances, Angelina is the one who moves me - but that is a matter of taste and opinion. What is certain however, is that her version is technically more difficult than Adele’s. Almost all of her small changes pull in that direction, which makes it pretty damn brilliant that she pulls it off. Most singers would find it hard to keep up with Adele, never mind raising the bar…

Ladies, keep in mind that you are evaluating the performance of a phenomenally gifted and talented ‘fifteen year old’ young woman. Saying Angelina’s performance of this song is the equal of Adel’s is the highest compliment you could give. No one covers Adel like Angelina does. No one. When Angelina covers a song she always pays respect and homage to the original version. I Like Adel’s performance very much, but I was not emotionally overwhelmed by it. Adel’s performance left me feeling that it had more to do with the commercial value than the esthetic value. I prefer Angelina’s rendition more because even though she has power she ads more softness, depth and warmth to her version, especially with her delicate breathiness. Angelina performance is honest and genuine and it shows in her emotional reaction to and interpretation of the lyrics.

I got a hidden gem for you to react to. Angelina Jordan with *Im still holding out for you* . This is not a released song. This was written by a Norwegian person called baby fuzz. I dont know if the lyrics was given to multiple artist or just Angelina but she recorded it but never released it because her mother didn't like that the song had sucidal lyrics at the end of the songs. But the song got leaked. And the person who wrote the song didn't know Angelina recorded it and recorded it himself and released it. Now both songs are on KZbin with a lot of back and forth and alot of rumors everyones is ok with it being out on KZbin. And im glad cause this is the best Angelina has done. Angelina loves Adele`s music since 6 years old (at least). Her covers are incredible. I also would love to see you react to Angelina`s original songs. Her "Million Miles" is a wonderful emotional piece of art, written about 10 months ago in memory of her grandfather, shortly after he passed. She has released several videos of it. Among them one official live in studio version, and one official music video feat. her younger sister as the younger Angelina, and her uncle acting her grandfather. Can't wait for you to get around to "I'm Still Holding Out for You". Angelina was reportedly 10 (about to turn 11) when she recorded it as a "demonstration vocal" (a "demo"), basically as a favor for the songwriters, who wanted to shop the song around to established artists. None of them bit, so the primary songwriter ended up recording his own version of the song under the stage name Baby FuzZ. She didn't want to release the song herself, but the demo audio somehow got posted to YT as a "slideshow video" in late 2019, where it remains to this day, apparently with the assent of all interested parties. (Everything in the previous sentence is the subject of much speculation and debate.) It should be pretty easy to find with a search, as the video has almost 300K views at this point.
