As punishment, the girl who caused injury to that poor little girl should have to spend a day in a wheelchair (without cheating) so she can see how it feels to have a disability for herself. This also means no getting out of the chair during recess to play. When it comes to bathroom usage, she can only use the ADA accessible restroom. Just my two cents.

That poor baby. Look I don't know if it was bullying or if they were playing or what all happened I'm only like 37 seconds into the video and I had to stop because it was just how old is poor baby... My prayers are with this child. I hope that they'll be able to recoup and get enough to cover any and all medical expenses associated with the incident... and compensation to make sure that she remains comfortable.

That’s not horse playing that’s bulling another student. The student didn’t given concert to being pushed into a water fountain . That little girl was probably horrified screaming for dear life. People raise your children better than this. Children should be taught to respect another child’s boundaries. Why pick on a student with a disability.

there is no indication that the child pushing intended harm, it looks like she was trying to include the disabled students and play with her and just didn't realize the student in the wheelchair could be injured.

So, she was asked to race by another student and answered in the affirmative? In this instance, the School isn't involved. Yes, it happened at School; However, it was between individual students. So, the Parents of the child that pushed her and the child should be Sued/punished.

so the aide was present, but not watching while she untangled christmas lights. it is okay for an aide to stay back and let the kid be a kid, but not so far back that they can't intervene when there is a need. you don't want an aide hovering over a student un necessarily

How is this the school fault. They look like they were playing which is exactly what they want from the other students. Or do they want the other kids to leave her alone sitting in the corner by herself. If the student who pushed her did it on purpose then the blame should be placed accordingly, if it was an accident, then just get your medical expense and move on.
