Wow very nice fishing. yellow tail and halibut I thought I was catching flounder but that was halibut. I catch it inshore using live bait also. Almost the same fishing here in Japan.

Not sure if you will ever see this but take this info with a grain of salt. The clip of the live well @11:00 those bait fish that are sandy green, the lighter shade for some reason work great. Sometimes try cherry pucking those baits 1st when fishing the channel islands / southern California area. Ive been fishing the area my whole life keep it in mind next time you're in the area. Awesome video!

I like Tackle Direct. I hooked up with them at a fishing expo I was working at in NJ many moons ago. They hooked me up big time. Got a Lamiglas Surf Jetty 10', Van Staal reel, St Croix Mojo Surf and bunch of other terminal tackle. Those folks are top notch

I was stationed on that island. Imagine being able to catch tuna, sheep head, rock fish off the cliffs while watching people pay $100’S to come fish 50 feet away from me. Loved it. 2013-2016.

I've talked w you a couple times about guiding and the shirt in Los Buzos "when all else fails, do what the guide told you to do" lol!
