I think they are very responsible and good parents! They care a great deal about each and every child! No one is neglected! I sincerely wish this big family well now and in future! Stay happy, healthy and blessed! Maybe, they can set a quiet time at home, so everyone can have some me-time! Cheers 🥂

I admire the parents for managing such a big family, with some childs being special needs.. I have one special needs child with ADHD..And it took a lot of effort for therapies etc..

I didn't watch the video, but if your disability birth rate is so high, I do think that the parents are to blame for this. Particularly for worsening the numbers. Tsk tsk.

This couple is doing well as compared to many cases I've came across. Still, I wish to emphasise the importance of family planning and what the coupled mentioned 'living within their means", because a lot of people don't.

Unfair for the neurotypical kids who would have to take on the roles of surrogate parents so as to offset the burdens of the parents.

as a person from a big family myself this video really hit home. the struggles of the parents and the older children are so real and it can get extremely overwhelming, like said in the video. i empathise with their struggles so much as the eldest myself. wishing them well!

This is why we need to build the old big executive flat. You don't have 4 bedrooms, how to house so many children? You need space for those few who are keeping up our replacement rate. I grow up in a household with 4 kids. I salute them, how to manage food is a logistic challenge, must remember who like what, go at the right timing.

At first I was like “why… sometimes just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.” But they have a system and ensure that each kid gets attention and love and they also respect each kid’s wish. Also, YES! SELF CARE IS NOT A PRIVILEGE, IT’S ESSENTIAL!

Wow, I have 7 siblings including me and my parents could never be like this. So, there is still family who blessed with lots of children and still happy and healthy together. I came from abusive family so this is really rare for me to see. I really wish my parents like that. Eventhough not really rich, but still happy.

ocswoodlands, They should have written to Ellen de Generes before she wrapped up her The Ellen show in May 2022. She would have given them a 12-seater Lolz. She had given large families houses/a full range of home furnishings/cash etc though most of the families had to take in other people's kids or go to orphanages. She also gave to families where irresponsible couples chose to have more than they could handle or financially afford!

@@lil0910 A lot in reality really Lolz. No need to talk about the west. Just focus on our south east asian countries. I don't want to be racist but I think malays are the most irresponsible bcs it's easy for them to marry more than one/divorce and marry another wife. Then will come the Indian men bcs of the culture of drinking,even among well/highly educated ones except perhaps doctors bcs of their job. And then there are some Chinese men who keep mistresses or gamble but generally you must agree that among the 3 races in Sg/Malaysia the Chinese are the better providers bcs they work very hard/most are in biz. You know the Chinese still hold on to the philosophy of their ancestors - hard work/perseverance/patience. If you look at Filipino men Lolz (my family had 3 or 4 Filipino maids through the years)/Indon men/Thai men no need to waste time typing. It all boils down to culture/socialisation/upbringing which shapes attitude & of course religious teachings.

Great family! Unlike my indian neighbour of 10 is really pitying. The mum is lazy to work and dad is a alcoholic. They never really leave the house unless pick up groceries or only on free christmas party.Always i heard the mum cursing and swearing at the kids I really pity the kids.

Nice of you to show empathy. Pls also contact the social service or FSC to look into that. These children will grow up to be adults, and they in turn might have their own families. One troubled family might turn out to be nine in the future.

I say, so long as they don't bother you, respect every families choice. They look happier than chinese families who only have 1/2kids and stress the crap out of their kids. Nowadays people only want 1/2 kids and government keeps on importing from China. Nuisance.

@BlackBannerz Agree but I do think the newer generation have started family planning which is necessary in Singapore. Our competition is no longer with the locals but with the foreign imports. I just think it's unnecessary for op to question why malays like to have big families and make it sound like a negative thing.
@celineaurelia

@Dark Note 👿 Well that is clearly your opinion and your choice. You think kids are a burden but some think kids are blessings. Why not mind your own business and go live by your "maximum 2 kids" policy? 🙂
