I rode in one like this at a mall once. Made me nauseous for the remainder of the day. I am building my home racing rig now and have the NLR V3 motion rig but have turned down the settings big time! For me, a little motion goes a long way to add immersion. This extreme movement does nothing for me.

Back when everyone thought cars flew across the map, rather than were stable machines close to the ground with as little sway as possible. This might be okay for a flight sim but for racing it is plain stupid.

I have noticed that this device has a rotary movement in the "Y" axis about 90 degrees. is obvious that this has a purpose but what happens when this action continuous vehicle motion but the motion of the machine to come to a stop? and another thing, once in game action concluded obvious that the machine will return to its neutral pocision in which case the player must experience a false sense. the truth is that very well what I am talking about and I must say that they are wrong in many respects, other than that is a great project :).

I think, it is not a big problem. In fact human feelings actually responds only to change (derivative) of the movement. The platform is permanently slowly returned to the center position - this movement is below the threshold of perception.
