I got to meet Chris at Warped Tour- he's so sweet!!!! He was sneaking thru the crowd in plain clothes and no one noticed it was him but I saw him a mile away- I think for a split second he thought I was gonna make a big deal out of it and blow his cover but nah I'm not like that I just smiled and winked at him and told him it was our secret and he smiles and hugs me and says thank you and how nice it was for a change to have someone respect his space and privacy- I just love him he's so dang sweet

It's quite depressing to see actually. Growing up Leslie Gore's version was playing over the speakers at every roller rink. It was iconic. It still is. They stole the show while co-headlining during their tour with In This Moment! The wife and I went to see ITM here in Dallas because she loves a rock band with a strong female lead. She had heard maybe 1 song from MIW thanks to Sirius. MIW blew us away! Made the ITM set (I first heard of them/saw them at Ozzfest 2008 and had been wanting to see them again ever since) rather meh. FANTASTIC energy - can't wait to see them again!

WARNING - LONG PARAGRAPH So to everyone who is saying that all of the new motionless in white music videos have no story, hear me out. This particular song isn't meant to tell a story, the song and video are both just a message, the message being this, in times when the world wants to hate you and try to get at you, you can say "I'm going to enjoy you watching to hurt me or annoy me, when you won't. Because I know I'm a bad guy so I'll celebrate being the bad guy while I enjoy my life, and enjoy what you could have enjoyed by hating me, so I'll have my cake and eat your To." So this video captures what the song intended, celebrating being a villain, by having all these goth icons in this video together. And the use of the lyric In the chorus, "it's my party and ill die when I want to." Is saying to me "it's My life and how I decide to live it is my own party, and ill die and give up when I want to do so." Again this song captures it in the video with Chris with the people who want him to fail on chains dressed as clowns, because watching them try to hurt me but they can't, and I'm gonna eat my cake that they would have, if they were bugging me, but they are not. Basically this song wasn't meant to tell a story, more just to send a message and be an anthem for everyone who needs to show the world, fuck you and ill enjoy myself. So... ya... I dig the video completely
