Just picked up the Venom Shock. Drilled pin down, using it for short oil sport shot. Love that Motiv Lou is throwing the brand again.

Great comparison video. I totally agree that Motiv makes some great symmetrical balls. One of my favorites ever thrown is a Sigma Sting. That pearl cover and core simply worked really well as a good benchmark and a little step up over the Shock.

No problem Luis, I like that combo. Wife just bought me a venom shock and have not drilled it yet. Not sure what to do. Love the smoothness of the subzero. Rock on, love your channel

I'm a huge rattler fan. Rattler NU I have 4 or 5 games of 240+. The big bite in 3 leagues I have 240, 263, & 241. It's just the knock of of the venom shock. I have an og rattler now too.

Picking up my sub zero tomorrow! Looks great! I have a black venom and must say I don’t love it ! But the EXJ Venom is great ball!

Had picked up a used shock that I just couldn’t get comfortable with, got the black venom and still just didn’t match up well. Wanting the subzero, though. Forge flare was my first Motiv ball, picked up another last year and it’s still top ball in my bag. Iron forge is a good ball for me as well. It’s been hit or miss with my evoke but I’m intrigued to see that cover wrapped around the forge core coming off my hand

I 100% agree. The Subzero Forge on the fresh and once that goes away, move to the Venom Shock.

I just got my Subzero yesterday and used it for two games in my morning league. I also have had the Shock for years. I was bowling on my house's version of a THS which is just a tad drier than most probably. I'm an old guy with not a lot of speed and my first few shots headed straight for the 7 pin. I continued to move left in warmup and wound up as far left as I've ever been bowling and that was just the 1st frame. My usual game, as a stroker, is straight down the 10 board with a small hook into the pocket. No way with this ball. Nevertheless, I managed a 212, 183 start with this ball and while it really hooks, it hits like a ton of bricks. Kaboom on every pocket hit and not one 10 pin. It was too much by the 3rd game and I switched to the Shock but left a lot of 10 pins (again). I think if I were a little younger or a little stronger, I might have made it through the 3rd game. I bought the Subzero mostly for looks (may be the best looking ball ever!) but was very impressed with its performance. Can't wait for the evening league Monday when more oil should be on the lanes. Methinks a speed dominant bowler would love this ball. Looks great, smooth as silk, and hits like a piledriver. What more could want?

My first motiv ball was subzero forge. Definitely love it with the same passion as my gb5. I absolutely love symmetrical solids as a more speed dominant bowler

As a low rev bowler, the Primal Shock suits me better then the Venom Shock. I also seem to do better with a-syms like the Jackal Ghost and the Crimson Jackal (my favorite ball at the moment). The Sub Zero does look great though. Might be better on the fresh for me then the Primal Shock. Motiv Lou motavated me to buy one (once I have saved up enough to buy a new ball)

MOTIV LOU!!!!! Also I don't know how often you do dv8 but they have been making really solid balls with good versatility in the past year or so, being straight bowler I like the smooth reactions and some being a little early feels good because I mainly use urethane on house shot, yet to try sport though since I started varsity bowling 2 years ago.

I have drilled 1 venom shock and i didnt like it but i am thinking of giving it a chance again because i wasnt consistent or capable of doing the things i can now as a bowler

I love a big symmetrical solid. I have the Revolt Uprising and it's a beast. For me the GOAT is the Stealth solid. If the Stealth were made by Hammer, Storm, or Motiv it would get more love. Motiv Lou aint got sh*t on Timmy Track.
