I cried so hard when I was watching the video. I just realized that i treated myself so badly for the last 28 years. I am a warm and kind person to everyone and yet I treated myself so harshly. I am so grateful God guided me to watch this video. From this moment I am a new person and I will treat myself with the same kindness and warmth as I treat any other person.

Everyday take a moment to put a hand over your heart and the other on your stomach. Then say to yourself “I love myself unconditionally” this is transformative and can be healing and revolutionary for your life. You can do this any time of day, while shopping, in the car, while on a walk. Each time works to reprogram your life. This has changed my life. ❤️ This video is beautiful. Thank you for sharing.

1 - PRAISE yourself: say things like i like myself , i am worthy. Allow in praise from others , don’t reject it. Would you reject a gift? A praise is a gift , so accept it and say thank you. 2 - Change your words and you will change your life. The way you speak to yourself shapes the way you live your life. Your words and pictures are your reality. Choose how you want your reality to be. Lastly - talk to yourself nicely and be confident. You were born with confidence, reactivate that confidence and take it back. You can change your life in a matter of days. Take control of your life and witness your own powerful potential. I love you all and you are awesome !

I cried through this entire video. My confidence is at an all time low due to challenges through life, lots of past and current bullying-on the daily I’m told how “stupid” I am or to “shut up” when I’m talking. When I explain how damaging it is for a person to hear this, especially daily, I’m told to “grow up. Quit acting like a baby.” I’ve learned to keep to myself and depend on me to lift myself up for now. These videos help me. It makes me feel like I have someone there for me to help me on my confidence journey. So thank you for making these caring videos

You have no idea what this video has done for me over the past few months Marisa. I wish I could tell you my story, but this is a public space and I can't. However, I will say that you were the initial, and most important catalyst in me totally transforming myself from a potentially self harming and self destructive feeling of self loathing and worthlessness into a man who now has restored his belief in himself, his self confidence, his feeling of self worth. I am so grateful that I found you in my search for something which would help me. This video alone has helped me with self confidence, self esteem and drug addiction. From this video I went to "How to love yourself", which helped me immensely. I almost feel like I could stand before a crowd and tell them just what has happened in a positive way for me. In fact I even want to, just to try and help people in my situation. Love is such a powerful thing. Love for yourself makes you appreciate everything also much more,. Thank you Marisa.

Michelle R Jackson how do I know God loves me? I can’t hear him or feel his presence any more. What’s worse, I’ve realised that I’m gay and that I’ll never be happy with a man. Does God hate me because of this? I never chose to feel this way yet I can’t help it. I pray to God to make me straight but it never works... i don’t know how much longer I can go on without giving in into temptation. Maybe I was never meant to go to heaven- maybe it’s God’s plan that I go to hell. Hell isnt empty after all. I am terrified of going to hell. I am terrified of myself and I feel disgusted with myself. I know you may not be a professional but you know God like I once did. What should I do?? I don’t want to go to hell :( I’m scared

Im currently going through depression and I’m seeking a way out of it on my own, I want to overcome this by myself. I want to take a break off of social media and people because I feel drained. Im always being used and walked all over because I simply cannot say the word *no* it’s so hard and frustrating, because Ive shown myself to being “the nice girl, the girl who is social” but also “the girl who is easy to use, the girl I can take advantage of” it’s funny because I know when people use me, but I’m too much of a coward to say it so I just cover it up with a smile. It’s stupid because I cry a lot at home and I try to tell myself it will all be okay, but this is the sad reality I’m living. Im too scared to be myself, Im a coward who values other people’s opinions more than my own and I cannot live as myself because Im afraid of being judged. Im 15 and I’ve lived under people’s shadows. However, I want to change. It’s a new decade and I want to explore myself and live the rest of my life as myself, this life is short and when I die I want to die without regrets, I want to be happy just like everyone else.

Starving Lol DARLING! just stop ... STOP beating yourself up! You are just learning about life , you are experiencing life you are just planting your feet and i dont know ANY teenager or even people in their 20’s to be sound in their head and spirit. Thats because this is time to get rejected, to learn, to feel the pains of growth and to make yourself the person you will be in the next coming amazing years of your life. I would have hugged you and told you that its ok to cry and that its ok to feel sad However after you have done crying and feeling sad I would tell you to start making personal boundaries and start practicing in saying what you MEAN... dare yourself to respond to people by standing up for yourself... start to hold yourself high in your own eyes and tell yourself “I am enough “ and see the strength pouring into your body and character! Learn about people, observe them, be compassionate but be fair. Theres a big difference between being nice and being a doormat Remember tomorrow is always a new day and just smile darling

Laleh Rehmani Throughout this month a lot has changed, recently I’ve been wearing the clothes I want to wear without asking anyone if I look okay, my siblings aren’t the most supportive about it and sometimes tell me I have a terrible sense of style, but, I’ve learnt to just not care and ignore them. I don’t live to impress people and it’s something that I’m going to keep doing. I’ve started to listening to music that I like, and a lot of people in school call me weird because I like Kpop, but I don’t care, I don’t expect them to like everything I like. Everyone has their own opinions and I’m not obliged to follow them. I’m learning to stop living for others and start doing whatever the fuck I want. Thank you for looking out for me 💙

when I was working at a new job, the manager told me that I talk way too fast that I can't even keep up with the pace of my own words. my coworkers were like I had a lot of energy. my boyfriend would be like I seem to be full of myself and tell everything that happened in my day. And that made me monitor my self more closely. I kept judging myself, my coworkers would be like are you sad? whats going on? later I realized it was ok. we shouldn't change ourselves just so we can seem 'appealing ' to other people especially for those who you don't care about. I love myself. and I will always. be the person I am.

I don't feel as though I was ever raised to have a "voice." As a result, it's very difficult for me to speak up at work which doesn't make for the best work experience for me. I come off as passive and fear making mistakes. Ultimately, it boils down to me truly embracing who I am, liking myself and accepting if others don't like me. Thank you for this great teaching.

Hearing this at 26 is EVERYTHING! I have searched for a voice the could reach me, and speak to me on a level that didn’t already make me feel like a failure for not being stronger, or more motivated than I should be. In all honesty, I, like most of us have suffered wounds that would appear too deep to heal, with too many triggers to pull you back under... However, her words cut through me with one slice. The simplicity or her methods, paired with her soothing, velvet, affirmative, and genuine tone took my breath away. It’s 5:22 AM, I have been awake all night, and I was literally trying to fall asleep because I’m so hungry but too clumsy not to cause a ruckus trying to get a snack. With all that being said, stumbling on her video in my desperation for personal growth and fear of losing the love of my life, was like taking a booster shot for my soul! Plus, let’s just say “ I have phenomenal coping skills” with anxiety, depression, L O A D S of childhood trauma that no one wishes upon their enemy to process, and chronic back and neck subluxation and damaged disks due to multiple car accidents; all without proper medical attention or mental therapy. Oh, did I mention I am also pretty pessimistic about being good enough to attain the self growth my dreams require in order to come to fruition, which in turn lead instigate my stubborn and lazy disposition toward the subject. So, may I drown you in praise Marisa Peer 🙌🏽🥳👏🏽, you are my new sensei in personal confidence; self esteem and ultimately my pursuit to happiness! You have just changed my life and made it now thrice as hard to revert to my old good for nothing, self- loathing tendencies! To the compassionate voyages who give my two cents an audience, wished me luck on my journey ahead, as I wish you success on yours! Thank you, please share your thoughts, all feedback and advice is and welcomed. Peace and happy holidays to all🤙🏽🌄 P.S. Please excuse my poor grammar, I grow impatient with applying proper grammar when using an iPad keyboard... 🤭🙄

34 years deep, and I’ve only recently realized that I mentally trash myself, and often the words and voices that I hear are extended family members who knew I had a rough childhood home, and instead of helping, they continuously verbally hurt me more. I’m a dude, and it feels weird to acknowledge that, but man.. it was impactful. Be kind, because you never know just how deep your words and actions may travel.

My mom used to ask me to dance for her from the time I was 3 till the day she passed away in 2018. She asked me for one last dance on FaceTime the day before she passed and I gave my best to hear her laugh. I have no dancing skills whatsoever but that’s what made it so funny between us. I’ll always remember that.

𝐈 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬! Whenever I watch annoying videos like this, that make my eyes tear at the middle of the video already, because I don't want to lie to myself, then I get angry for my 𝕙𝕠𝕡𝕖𝕝𝕖𝕤𝕤𝕟𝕖𝕤𝕤 and I use that sudden boost of being fed up to keep doing productive stuff, or if I'm really angry, then mewing(tongue posture exercises) or workout, running if I can. Don't compare yourselves to others. This was really encouraging afterall!

With Confidence it is also to remind yourself that everyone is going through things, everyone is up in their own heads worrying about themselves. Once you realise this it is so easy to walk around with ease and assured in who you are. Everyone is human. With any scenario that scares you, ask yourself the simple question ‘What is the worst outcome that can happen from this situation’, usually it isn’t half as bad as we make it out to be! Fear is False Evidence Appearing Real, Challenge yourself everyday and you will step into a Confident Person. All the love and incredible video, Thank you x

Dear friends, please do not let your current reality stop you from getting what you want. Remember we are only at the bottom because we are looking for a way to get back up. Implant positive self-image inside you and I promise you will one day get what you want. When you give up, that's when it begins. Much love.
