A job is a job. All of them have perks and all of them have downs. I bet it's not fucking easy working at Mcdonald's: they work long hours, get paid little, have to wake up early, some have to do all-night shifts for those open 24 hours, end up smelling like shit all day, standing all day as well. Like, I bet if you put some entrepeneur who works in a fancy buisiness in ny or whatever, put them one day behind a mcdonald's counter and they'll be complaining about everything

Yeah, they act as if what you get out of something is directly proportional to what you get out of it, while completely ignoring the nuance of there potentially being diminishing returns or some sort of plateau, not to mention how it affects every part of your life outside of your fiscal success. Also, it's not as if you can just keep putting more effort into something forever and get an infinitely increasing amount of profit from it as a result. It reminds me of the girl on twitch that said that, if you don't have five dollars, you should be working more, as if you can always just work more forever.

All mental illnesses become cool if you're rich. In fact, some are _required_ to be a billionaire. Required: hoarding. As long as the thing you hoard is money, it's fine. Also required: narcissism and/or psychopathy. Any mentally healthy person would either stop accumulating wealth and just relax, or use their money to fix shit. Only hoarders who don't care about others can become billionaires.
