Dropping out of school and trying to start a business is until today one of the hardest things I've had to do in my life. It broke me. I had multiple emotional breakdowns, it was such a hard time in my life, in addition to that my consciousnesses was extremely low . But I finally became the person I wanted to be, went back to school and got high grades which was initially my first goal before dropping out of school.

So life is just like boardgames. People who don't respect the game are no fun to play with and people who take the game too seriously are also no fun to play with. You have to respect the game, pay attention to it fully and still know it's just for fun. The ability to do this with boardgames is common, but treating life like this is less common. Another thing, you don't become a better player by winning. You become better by playing it, by studying it and by enjoying it. Winning is just a little bonus.

Around this time last year, I first discovered one of your videos. It was the break-up one because I was going through a breakup and had the idea that maybe there was a helpful video.. Little did I know I would discover a channel that would change my life forever. I've watched so many of your videos and began to be inspired. I started meditating for 20 mins per day, keeping a graditude journal of the 10 things that I was thankful for each day and doing positive affrimations to fight off those lazy feelings. As a result, I lost around 80lbs and experienced happiness for the first time in a long time. It has not always been like that though, I definatley had moments where I was confused and didn't know where to turn too. I fell into bad habits, slowly went from meditating for 20 minutes everyday to not meditating at all. My mind began to race, I felt like it was out of control. My preformance in work suffered as well. Whenever I would feel like this, I'd say to myself "ok...let's go look on Leo's channel" and would easily find something that resinated with me in that moment. I would feel like I hit the reset button essentially, and then I was back on the path. I just want to thank you- for making this channel and being so passionated about helping people like myself. I reccomend your videos and website to anyone who is going through a tough time or even my sucessful sister who gets caught up in her busy life. Also to anyone who has trouble grasping the things he's saying, take notes. I treat it almost as a lecture! I just write down the steps and just quotes that really make me think. Then I refer back to them. His concepts are really deep and they are worth "studying" so you really understand them.

Eckhart Tolle really did the trick for me in that department. Try reading "The Power of Now" if you haven't already. I had anxiety for 12+ years and as of february 7, 2015 it has gone and never returned. Amazing book.
@alexc22657 жыл бұрын
Yeah, reading The Power of Now and just a consistent meditation practice will do so much for it. I got way better with them. What’s improved me further though is CBT and challenging the belief that those thoughts are actually doing something for me. Realizing that in specific instances and writing it down really helps.

I had a major addiction to thoughts & overthinking. Not any more:) I have made many useful videos on relieving over thinking. In fact they are all about that! After a long period of sickness, slowing down and self reflection I finally understand each point you said and can relate to it. It's hard, god, so damn hard! And in my case I was already on my golden path, having this vision, without knowing why and how, it just happened intuitively. This year I needed to stop, I even had this thought of quitting, that much I was confused about why I have chosen decisions in the past just by intuition and not conscious thinking. I needed to read, study, question everything around me to understand society (yes, studying is important to connect the knowledge with your vision!) and finally realised that I AM on the right path and it has been since almost two years now! And with this knowledge I can get back and move on!!

I can't thank you, Leo, enough for your help! Your videos literally saving my life, giving it new meaning and purpose I never believed I'll find again after I've lost myself. Now I have hope!
