Ridiculous. It is no more that, than anything with abstracted properties is. Money is actually got as many real-world functional "real" properties as anything else in this world. Leo's statement is at best incomplete, and at worst utterly uninformed and yet another statement made at the lowest level of insight that anyone would have having literally decided to just talk about a subject without investing any time in understanding it.

Please, what counter arguments do you have to each of his points? I'm fascinated. I, myself, after listening to the entire video, can see the validity of every point he makes in this video and he provides reasons that back up his point. I'm curious what your perspective is on these points.

This video changed my life! Watched it years ago. Decided to go fast and hard towards finding my purpose. Today I live my dream life!! I life coach while traveling full-time in my decommissioned Ambulance and postingmy travels! Thank you Leo!! Without your insight I would have continued to seek outside of myself!!
@SagiQuarion
@SagiQuarion 5 ай бұрын
So, why does it seem that people “living their dream life” is life coaching others? And so many of the courses out there are about starting a life coaching business. Why? On one hand I get it why one may want to be a life coach and the relative freedom it gives them. On the other, it’s like a Mobius Loop that feeds into itself. Pay me to life coach you towards your goals and also I’ll teach you how to run your own business. A life coaching business. So you can life your dream life.
@InPoweredByCyndi
@InPoweredByCyndi 5 ай бұрын
@SagiQuarion Good insight! I definitely see that side of it. I struggle to call myself a coach because of it! Most industries have a twisted version, however. Personally I grew up with extreme neglect and continued to live it into my 40s. That was when I found there IS a way to heal your life. Like Leo says it is about knowing & trusting your own self. Although there are many 'coaches' claiming to do this they have not lived it and just follow a program. I found real healing tools techniques. So, yes. I am passionate about teaching these to people so they can truly heal. Unfortunately, I find, as Leo states, that most would rather stay in their false beliefs and programed life. Blame others and STOP searching for truth. Don't judge us all because of a few. Question everything!!

@@geeblock6789 Wow! That was 5 years ago. Well, what can I say. I graduated college and work a job I enjoy (web developer). Leo's life purpose course actually helped me understand my values and strengths, thus leading to a career choice outside of the realm of my field of study. I am fit and healthy, I have a good social life, I'm financially comfortable and responsible, and I enjoy reading and learning about various things. I guess I'm doing alright. But there are tons of areas of my life that still need improvement. I have more or less abandoned the spiritual topics that Leo discusses in many of his videos because I have realized that I'm simply not ready for that yet. I have a lot of growing to do in terms of meeting my basic needs before I ever return to that material. Currently, there are two aspects of my life that need urgent addressing and are constantly on my mind: establishing a dating life (which I've never had yet), and moving out of my parents' home.
@MichaelHR94

Wow that is so true. Its true that beliefs are the cause of our results. But to fix those is just the first and main step. From my experience, clarity of mind (non-judgement) intuition (stillness), observation (awareness) and high quality thinking (intelligence) is what makes progress flow. There's no doubt that health plays an important role in success. Right nutrients for brain power and body stability + exercise for a healthy mind and higher levels of energy in the body is critical for one's activity performance and capacity to achieve any desirable change.

Your point about the family's philosophy toward money is bang on for me and my spouse. I grew up in a working class home with not a lot of emphasis placed on money while he grew up in an upper middle class home with a lot of emphasis placed on money. He has psychological issues regarding money nowadays whereas I do not; meanwhile, we are not even struggling with money one iota. My parents have literally had to bounce cheques on occasion to pay for groceries; I tell him this but it doesn't seem to resonate. I'm always giving him pep talks about money; I don't care about money and I hate talking about it.

Black and white sarcasm huh? lol well I see it this way... You can take a roadtrip through a beautiful valley, but that doesn't change who you were at home, it doesn't change who you are in the car... hell, you can even sleep on the trip... you can refuse to take pictures... what I'm saying is that experience is a landscape. If you choose to cherish the memory, then fine. psychedelics may open you up, but it's really about what you bring back and how you use it. A shitty person who has a profound experience may come back and decide to be a douche again. It doesn't change your shadow, but perhaps it makes things glow in the dark for a short while.

Je vis, donc je suis don't be a vegetation because it helps in personal development man. Don't do it for " health reasons " it's not more healthy than a properly balanced diet. If you want to do it for moral reasons go ahead BUT if it's vegetation your eating eggs maybe cheese than this won't be an issue but a vegan has to watch out for omega 3s, B12, D3 for cold climates and that's just efew I'm missing. I'm not a fan of supplements but vegans may need them. Sorry for the rambling just giving you my 2 cents and trying to help 😊

@NiciO.G
@NiciO.G 7 жыл бұрын
Je vis, donc je suis its possible because vegans are less aggressive for physiological reasons or aren't alpha. Do you mean non alpha or less actual aggression? Cutting out meat won't do that alone unless you have deficiencys so than you might not have the energy to be depressive lol. Vegan is healthier than the average western diet but that doesn't mean it's healthier than someone who eats eggs, minimally processed meats alongside the vegan foods...

Hello Leo, I have been following your channel now for roughly a year now and the topics you discuss have affected my life in ways I did not think possible. I have become much more aware that I have so much room to grow. That said, I'd like to talk about the topic of money. A week or two before this came out, I began realizing just how poorly I have been managing my money. I would spend my money on fast food, drugs (weed and psychedelics), and cheap thrills. While I was spending money on these things, I wasn't exactly conscious of the consequences of my actions. Lately, I have been more aware of my spending habits. I have also had trouble keeping a job due to lack of a good work ethic as well as what I like to call "heat of the moment" decisions to just abandon the job. Thoughts would persist such as "I don't really need this job," or "This is a dead-end job that will get me nowhere." I have a lot of room to grow in regards to developing a strong work ethic, but I do feel that I am now making good progress. I want to say thank you for creating Actualized.org. You have opened my eyes to something that I did not know existed, that being the self-actualized lifestyle. I do have a couple of questions. 1.) How do you find specific retreats/seminars? as well, do you attend these retreats/seminars in other states or countries? 2.) Do you have any book recommendations regarding discipline or work ethic? I feel this is something that I struggle a lot with. Others, feel free to chime in!

Well I do think the problem is that you invested too much in the drugs before the work ethic. I'm under the assumption that Leo did very little to no drugs up until recently, but look how far he has come before doing that. If you were going to follow that model, then you should stay clean from all drugs until you have your discipline and work ethic compartmentalized (meaning that it comes naturally, not even a struggle to do or think about). I wouldn't even consider doing the drugs again unless you plan on using it as a tool & not recreation...otherwise you might just backslide right back to where you are now.

I just got into your videos. I love them. You're awesome. There is a lot of stuff here. It's kind of overwhelming. Like shifting the belief that making money is hard or only doable by doing work that I hate so I can eventually do work I love. Then hearing that making money by doing what you are passionate about is the most efficient way to make money. Then there are all the books to read. There are hundreds of books out there. What is the one book that will shift my momentum and get me earning so I can have more to invest in more books and courses later on? I really want to believe that making money is easy. I want to see it as another aspect of what I do that I trust that I can do confidently. I want to release what I learned from my parents and what I learned because of my own poor decisions because of lack of awareness and fully embody what some people were taught from a young age about ease of making money.

Nice work as usual. Something else that would be useful here is describing practical methods folks can use to protect themselves from leeches who will try to live off of you because they are too lazy to do their own work. I have seen many people go broke/bankrupt because of this.
