Never forget.... It is not the level of noise that makes you anxious. It's the fact there is a noise. Don't underestimate the power of acceptance (which is not the same as ignoring!). Mindfulness helps (too) in dealing with the unavoidable things in life. It's not just tinnitus, or cancer, of another issue. It is how you cope with it. One technique that works for me that I copied years ago from Reddit. Place the palms of your hands over your ears with fingers resting gently on the back of your head. Your middle fingers should point toward one another just above the base of your skull. Place your index fingers on top of you middle fingers and snap them (the index fingers) onto the skull making a loud, drumming noise. Repeat 40-50 times.

Thank you! This has made a real difference in the level of tinnitus--it's almost gone. I developed a high-pitched whistle in my left ear after going through a root canal, which has made it difficult to sleep at night and made me anxious and depressed during the day. I also experienced popping and soreness in the hinge of my jaw on that side. Doing these exercises has not only reduced the noise significantly, but my jaw feels better as well. What a blessed relief! I'm going to do these exercises throughout the day and before bedtime. I'm anticipating a good night's sleep!

Thank you Dr. Mandel! It has been 5 years with intense extremely high pitched ringing in both ears. I did one treatment as per your instructions, definitely relief, but not completely gone, will continue with 3 reps per day. I rolled my van and broke neck,Pons stroke,and difuse axonal TBI. Thats only part of internal injuries. I also had horrible dizzy spells after lying down immediately and sitting up immediately, entire room spinning. Physical therapist said I needed vestibular therapy that worked with just 6 visits. Saw a couple ENT Dr.s and they said there is nothing you can do other than headphones or ear bugs with music, but thats temporary. I have been close to ending it all, but being the fighter to get myself back to somewhat normal I couldn't do that to myself or put loved ones through that. Although my ring is so high pitched and loud I still have excellent hearing ( strange ) but true. Thank you so much!! I will continue with process.

I heard on a radio show about using do Terra helicrysum oil with a drop rubbed in behind in ear crease and a drop rubbed around ridge of ear canal. Supposed to help heal nerve damage there. I tried it, it got better. Need to find it and reapply next time it goes off til it's completely fine. Definitely less now tho.

Couple of years ago i bought a Harley and took the summer off and went motorcycle camping out west. One day, i was on the highway, which i had been avoiding during my trip, but anyways, it was hot out and i wanted to get where i was going fast so i got on the highway, I'm wearing a half helmet so no ear protection and it was super windy that day too. When i got to the campsite, i knew i did something to my ears, ruffling paper sounded like sheet metal, it was awful. At times, the ringing is so loud it's almost unbearable. It's been like this for years. I found this video yesterday and did those exercises once.... I just realized a moment ago ... There's NO ringing in my ears anymore !!!! Wtf ??? This is amazing. Dear Doctor Mand. Thank u so much for this video. I started hearing some noise that looks like heartbeat and of unclear television station August 2022. I was told i had nerve damage. Took so many drugs of the likes of BP drugs and blood thinner. Consulted with the ENT who told me, my ears were fine but it was a nasal blockage. Prescribed so many drugs at first visit for two weeks, the tinnitus increased, changed the drugs, remained the same. Recommended nose irrigation which i completed and at this time, i was no longer sleeping for the high pitch. It comes in different sound; like a heart beat, forest sound, ocean sound, clicking sound. I WAS ALMOST GETTING CRAZY AND DEPRESSED. I decided to check youtube, listened to many but yours have given me a spontaneous relief in just two days. THANK YOU SO MUCH AND MAY GOD BLESS YOU ABUNDANTLY. I injured my back ear trying to get quick result from the exercise or may be i didnt know how to grab and stretch the ear

A few weeks ago I was at a loud concert and left as soon as I could but when I walked out I noticed the high pitched whine was significantly worse. I tried your exercise and to my amazement the noise is much reduced. I can’t thank you enough.

Using an electric shaver, electric toothbrush, any vibrator and they work The science behind this is to transmit vibrations via the cartilage that connects the optic nerve to the brain. This is more efficient than tapping your head with your fingers. If you want a quick try without reading the rest: turn on the vibrator place the non-cutting end to that part of the ear that is next to the entrance of the ear canal. You will have to move around in order to get max sound. .Go slow at first if the vibrator is large, it will produce a very loud sound. Just experiment until you don't hear tinnitus. I had stumbled on a method that uses the end part electric shaver NOT the cutting part. You can even use an electric brush. Place the vibrating part at the bottom of the ear, not at the ear lobe but the part above it with a triangle shape. . This part is directly in front of the ear canal .If you press on it, you will hear a pop sound. This protects the ear canal. The point to touch with the vibrator is on the end of the protective part of the ear. PLaying around this part of the ear with the vibrator until you hear fairly good sounds. The sounds can be quite loud if you are using a loud shaver. When ready , try not to push the vibrator too hard to locate the spot with the loudest volume. I started slowly and left vibrator on for 1-2 minutes, but they weren't effective then raised to 3-4 .That produced the results of not hearing tinnitus for a day. Next day, I had a slight ringing and I was able to eliminate it with a minute session. Please report back your method and adjustments

Also, get a Vitamin D3 blood test. A lot of people are very deficient in Vitamin D3. I had tinnitus for several years BEFORE I had the Vitamin D3 blood test because of other health reasons. My blood test results determined I was severely deficient in the Vitamin D3. My doctor prescribed for me to take 15,000 IU's daily for 6 months. In that time, a nice side benefit was, the tinnitus went away completely! I now, personally, take 15,000 IU's of Vitamin D3 daily and (1) Vitamin K2/MK-7 90mcg daily. The Vitamin K2/MK-7 helps with the absorption of Vitamin D3. I have Celiac Disease and have nutrient absorption issues, so that's why I have to take a higher dosage of Vitamin D3, with no side effects. Well, I hope this information helps you in YOUR research to good health. 😊💖
@SolidSnake4Ever20032 жыл бұрын
@@tillygirl7450 thank you, this gives me hope. I've had IBS for years, ate bad throughout my 20s, then had my gallbladder go bad so my nutrient levels are probably pretty low and I might need higher doses to compensate for absorption issues. I'm going to get a d3 blood test and in particular b6 and b12 tests since I read alongside d3, a b12 deficiency notably can also cause tinnitus. I've cut out 99% of fast food and take vitamins, but could need higher doses. Dr Eric Berg said residual infection in the ear could cause it too and recommended bioflavanoids, garlic, and oregano oil pills which I've ordered and am going to try. His plan b was to take 40,000 iu d3 and 400mcg k2 every morning for 1-2 weeks and that could possibly cure tinnitus too. I haven't personally had any of these ear or neck muscle exercises cure my tinnitus so I'm starting to believe it's some vitamin thing or infection instead of a muscle problem. I've had tinnitus in my right ear almost 4 months now out of the blue.
