About 2 years ago I was sitting on my couch, 248 pounds, 55 years old, miserable. I read my bible, Can't hurt me. I dragged my broken down, pitiful ass to the gym . I started to actually put out for the first time in 30 years. Man, it fucking hurt. But DG was in my head so I stopped being a complainer and started addressing the me problem. Got my hormones checked and my Testosterone level was so low that I could legally compete as a female in the Olympics. Got that handled and started to grind. When I first started to train again I had absolutely no hope of getting 1 legit pullup. But with DG in my head I started to grind. A year and a half later I can do 6 pullups, bench 245, run a 9 minute mile and as a result I look amazing for a 57 year old and my wife fucks me like she means it. I am a DG disciple. One day I am going to run 12 miles with him. That will happen.

You know what? I got to a point in my life where I realized that e a s y is b o r i n g . Doing the same thing over and over again is easy. Complaining is easy. Procrastinating is easy. Falling back on old habits is easy. Sitting on the couch watching TV is easy. I got bored with easy so I had no other alternative but to change things up because anything less than that is e a s y and easy to me got mighty boring. So with all that said it looks like I just got myself out of my “comfort” zone.
