@@ACommenterOnKZbin Using a billet block over an iron block doesn't mean it isn't an RB, still based on an RB30 with an RB head and RB stroker kit.
@lennixsingh626 Жыл бұрын
@@ACommenterOnKZbin The literal design of the rb30 billet block is based on the rb30 block u donut. It’s legitimately an rb30 block using OFF THE SHELF rb components that fit in any other rb engine.
@lennixsingh626 Жыл бұрын
@@ACommenterOnKZbin Just because it has a billet block, it doesn't mean its a Frankenstein engine that's 1 off using completely custom internals. The Fact of the matter is that this car uses A billet block for strength, the block is based off the rb30 and uses OFF THE SHELF RB components. Everything in and on this engine is interchangeable with its inferior cast block friend. If the car was however using an RBX block I would agree with you because it uses a custom crank and bearings in which the block is not classed as an RB30 or 26 block.
@lennixsingh626 Жыл бұрын
@@ACommenterOnKZbin Your logic is flawed and deluded. The material of an engine or components does not change what the engine is. It’s still true to the design of the RB. Like I already listed, EVERY component in and on these engines is interchange with a cast block engine, and it’s all fits and works. Your argument is practically like saying forged rods and pistons which are designed specifically for 1 engine. Make it not that engine anymore just because it has aftermarket parts. Please refrain from making such stupid points which make absolutely no sense.

Would be cool to see if Rob and the boys from CRD could incorporate a laser ride height sensor to help with the wheelies and make the car overall more consistent. Would make the car alot safer, possibly get the 60 foot's down a little and make the car quicker.
@AlistairLattimore2 жыл бұрын
If they don't have one today, you might find there is a reason for it. For example, with the turbo being that big they can't backdown coming out of the hole or it'll come off boost and be too slow to get back onto boost that the overall run is a loss at that point. That being said, they could certainly add one just for safety - maybe it'd save a massive wheelie and potential damage down the road.
@lennixsingh6262 жыл бұрын
@@AlistairLattimore the laser sensor can pull only a tiny bit of fuel or ignition not resulting in a huge loss, majority of the x275 cars in the states are using them and have made them more consistent and quicker
