Motivewave is amazing. It is slick, functional, beautiful and fast. The order flow suite is fantastic. It really feels like it's a software designed by traders for traders.

Do you use the Heatmap if so how does iy compare with bookmap?

Awesome software. Thanks for the review. And by the way, those are not Gartley patterns, they are harmonic patterns and have a set of specific ratios that must be measured properly depending on the XA and AB measurements, you can determine what pattern is the one that most likely will be formed, Gartley only one of those patterns.. Other than that, great review.

The Gartley pattern IS a harmonic pattern. So is the crab, butterfly, shark etc all of these are harmonic patterns (which is just the name of the umbrella which fits these patterns inside)

works with IB, too. software is nice but has drawbacks. especially the execution window is nowhere near the capabilities of tradingview, most importantly it doesn't show the order value(!!!). menus are hard to navigate, you gotta scroll instead of typing a letter and jump to the according section. entering tickers into your watchlist ist tedious at best. it always closes and you have to open it up again. it also sits on top of IB's TWS, which is a huge pain. if tradingview would support IB, i wouldn't hesitate a second. all in all it's an okay software but absolutely no 2020 standard, especially user experience wise.

Gartley, Elliott, Fibo... Does anything of it really work? I mean I'm impressed with this software and its features but are all of them really necessary?

Its just another thing they're trying to sell you, the algorithms don't give a damn about harmonic patterns
