Available Now: mercury-studio...
On the 31st December 2015 Mötley Crüe took to the stage of the Staples Center in their home city of Los Angeles for their last ever live performance. It was the culmination of a farwell tour which had started in July 2014 and travelled around the world taking in North and South America, Japan, Australia and New Zealand, Europe and the Middle East. The band had signed a legally binding cessation of touring contract that prevented them touring as Mötley Crüe beyond the end of 2015 and so this concert truly was The End . Being Mötley Crüe, they did of course go out in style with a spectacular light show and stage set, pyrotechnics, Tommy Lee s incredible rollercoaster drum solo and a set list packed with Mötley Crüe classics. They may be gone but they ll never be forgotten.

Mick is very cool. I met him at PRS in 1999 when he picked up his custom guitar we just finished. Couldn't have been nicer. My friend "Dracula" got the honor of sanding Micks guitar which is the hardest job at PRS and signed his name in blood under the fret pickup where we were required to sign for quality control.

OK, I'm 3 years too late from the posting date of this, but I gotta say: Wow, Mick is fantastic. He really plays with great accuracy, but also adds plenty of flair to give you that live feeling. Some say that rock is easy to play and brush it off; but he really shows great feel for the music, the instrument, and, yes, showmanship. Physically, there's only so much he can do with severe back problems, but he is just so effing talented in his live playing - again, accuracy and flair. Oh, and his guitar tone is just awesome.
