I grew up in the 80's, graduated high school in 86. It truly was a different world from today. The music of that time period will always hold a special place in my heart. All of my favorite bands, Motley Crue, Skid Row, Tesla, Ratt, Def Leppard, Warrant, Poison, Bon Jovi, Wasp, Cinderella, Van Halen, Metallica, Judas Priest, REO , Kiss , Aerosmith and so on were all over MTV and the radio and it was awesome! Those of us who remember that time know it will never be duplicated.

I don't think it was this exact show, but my first concert ever was Crue Fest 2008 with my dad. Motley Crue was one of our favorite bands. My dad passed two months ago and I was looking for a version of this song for his memorial, and I found this - a version we may have listened to live, right next to each other, 14 years ago. @@sauce3162 Vince is my dad and he's not losing any weight. If anything he's gotten fatter. 400 pounds now. He's going to have an oxygen machine with him on stage. With defibrillators placed around the stage in case he has a heart attack. EMS on call too.

When i was 6rowing u this was my fav song of Motley Crue. I was on the Myrtle Beach main drag running wild at 16 years old. That was the first time I saw the Motley Crue 6osters all over town.Summer 1984. I liked them instantly. Hard to believe it is over. Tying with a fkd key board about to die on me. Those were the days...At first sight I thought vince was female lol...all these years.

What I love about this song is that it shows how heavy metal doesn't have to be all thrash guitars and screaming crazy stuff, but it can also have a soft and sentimental side that really shines through when the band brings it out. Like this song, if I didn't know Motley Crue I never would've suspected that Tommy could play this so well on the piano and it's just absolutely incredible. Way to go guys, I miss your songs in 2018 and I wish y'all could still be touring
@DarkHelmut6 жыл бұрын
The piano parts of this song are more than extremely basic, its just a basic cMaj chord that changes the root to b then bflat, then a 1 3 5 f major triad, its not rocket science by any means and any 2nd week piano student can play this. Does it sound good? Of course, but Tommy is by far not a great piano player by any means.
