I still love this album, the care in the song writing, the production, the acoustic guitars, so much went into this and they got railroaded by the timing. Some real gems on this record and this is one of them. Can never get bored of these songs. I hope John realizes this - that he should have dignity in having created this record

Just thought of this song whilst posting on a Rare Metal FB page... This is what I wrote: I love Motley Crue... Vice's high nasal voice became one with that music! Having said that, When John Corabi joined, they became another entity and IMHO, it was a large musical growth spurt! That album with Corabi was simply FANTASTIC! Hard rocking, down and dirty with a musicality the crue never attained before. Misunderstood is a fantastic "ballad" and there is not a bad tune on that album. Just wish the record company would have went with a different name for the group... The "voice" of motley crue will alway be vince.

I don't want to sound rude but i was a Motley Crue fan since i got my copy of Too fast for love when it came out I believe I was 12 and i loved Crue followed them for years even learned to play a lot of their music on guitar back then but 1994 hits and MOTLEY CRUE comes out with John Corabi on Vocals !!!! This was the sound i waited for all my life and never knew it , I loved this album and have actually gone thru multiple copies of it until Mp3's were the thing.. This was the most focused down to earth collaboration of rock I had ever heard and in perfect timing with grunge taking over the world , It had the hard hitting of Tommy on Drums , Mick playing versatile , Corabi playing and singing his heart out and Nikki being Nikki and pushing it thru with his Bass electric or acoustically and giving us a look at what Motley Crue was as musicians .. Now i have the entire Motley Crue Collection till they retired but when I reach for a CD to let my hair down or to remember a better day I click this CD and let it play all the way thru either at home or in my car [sometimes the earlier stuff] but this album was very under rated I think as i said because of the timing with grunge taking over and people wanting something different and the record company didn't support this one like they should .. I want to add it had to of been a nice Crue Cd to hear because Sixx A.M touches on the earthiness and soulful rock that the 94 Crue album has just with a more personal meaning because most of those songs on the 94 album wee very relatable as well ... Sorry Vince but I do have and enjoyed the direction Steve Stevens took you during that time but i want to say personally because of the fights and music changes I did become a full time Dream Theater Fan , I enjoy change but i was hoping to hear more from Corabi personally ...

This is actually a really great album! Often have I wondered if they could get all five members together and they could remaster the album with Vince Neil and John Corabi splitting Vocals or something like that. This album proved that Sixx was a great songwriter..not just him but the band , as a musical band. Were and could be just more than what they gained their fame and notoriety for..great album..if they woulda called themselves anything else than the Crue then maybe it woulda did better commercially..but we'll never know..

I avoided this album for years after hearing it was a "commercial failure" and not accepting a singer outside of Vince, but damn, it's loaded with great songs. John's voice gives the band such a heavy blues sound. It would have been really interesting hearing how Generation Swine turned out with his vocals.

John Corabi does a good job as lead singer. He very much was up to the task. They sound really good here. Are also very good at coming out with something really different for music and it ,"knocks your socks off"!

To everyone saying they should of kept John. They wanted to but this album flopped and the record company made them get back with Vince if you read The Dirt it talks about it.

Joe Hercik dude, are you hearing this song? “It sucks”? Yeah, I agree it’s not Motley Crue, but to say it sucks? That’s just ridiculous.
