Moto Guzzi has won thousands of faithful motorcyclists in the world, for being a simple and reliable machine. Hopefully that electronics in the new model does not turn it into a disposable motorcycle like so many other brands.

Personally this is the dream bike for me. Roadster tourer… exactly what I love in a bike. So great to hear the thought processes behind the design.

A future V100TT Mandello Adventure would be very interesting & tempting.

Agree but the V85TT platform is already too heavy for serious offroad (except for the guys that do it no matter the bike)

@@theunheardprophet4315 you’re right: for real off-road i would buy a 250cc or 300 cc bike like the Honda CRF300 or something similar. But for gravel roads & forest roads this would be perfect like my Tiger 900 GT. A big adventure bike need a 21 inches front wheel to be able to do some real off-road.

Great concept and in the spirit of Moto Guzzi. My first Moto Guzzi was a Le Mans 1000, bought in 1985 and had it for many years. It was back then a very competent sportbike, it was a great touringbike, it worked great in the everyday life. Wonderful machine. To me thats the essence of a bike I wants, useful for everything. I once drove approx 2500km in 24hours from Vadsø, Norway to Helsingborg, Sweden with my Le Mans 1000 only struggling with staying awake, the seating position, the relaxed behaviour of the bike made it not problem. In one week vacation on the Guzzi I covered 8000km and only felt sorry that I didnt have a longer vacation when I came back home. This kind of bike I hope this new one is going to be.

Of course, the Le Mans 1000 was absolutely reliable so thats my hope for the series of bikes as well from Guzzi. I've also had Le Mans 850, 1976 - great but a bit to small for me and the engine was a bit to lazy compared to my previous 1000 Le mans, I've had the 1100 sport 1989, to extreme seating position and engine lacking power in the midrange, beautiful bike but I hardly managed 150km in one stretch before my hands were gone. I have big hopes for the new era Guzzis to have enough power, and to be the carrier of everyday/touring/sport-bikes I remember they from. Of course, this one looks great, thats important!!

This bike is seriously on my radar. This is actually the kind of bike that I like. I see myself as a sports tourer but they stop making those kind of bikes due to the adventure bike market. The looks and sound right out the box is nice. Don't have to do anything to it and a bike to me should be beautiful like the Ducati 916. There are not a lot of beautiful bikes out there but this is one. When will it hit the market?

Liquid cooling eliminates the need for the transverse architecture, creating nothing but a fashion statement- Carlo would be apoplectic. If you want to express Guzzi 'heritage', you could have gone with an inline, transverse triple as far as that goes. Do what he would have done, and just design the best, most reliable engine possible, then race it to prove yourselves correct! This is why Honda is a global powerhouse, while Moto Guzzi has become a pass around toy covered in flashy rubbish. I owned an 850t and a V50 Monza, and both were exceptional machines, and then I bought an Aprilia piece of garbage that merely looked like a genuine Moto Guzzi- I'll never buy another...
