i have heard on different forum that moto z play back has very thin plastic film which can be peeled of have you peeled it off before doing scratch test

dbrand backs for the Moto Z force fit perfectly on the Z Play if you want protection for the back but not the style shell.

Michael Fisher talked about how the glass back is soft and prone to scratches. This must be where the included style shell comes in handy. This is still a better option of the three Zs, or Zed[s?] in your case. :)

Can you do a video on trying to peel the back protective film off? It has a lot of people wondering. Supposedly, the same glass (Gorilla Glass 3) is on the back, but under that extremely easy to scratch back film.

I dropped my phone and shattered the rear glass panel. The service centre guys are saying that it will take a long while for the part to arrive in the market moreover they are not sure if it is replaceable. I am presently using a Skinnova skin to cover up the damage. Is the rear glass panel replaceable? if yes then can you please do a demonstration video on how to replace it and share the link for the parts??

I cringe when I see these damage videos. I am extremely impressed with the Gorilla Glass. I have a Moto X Pure for a year without any glass protector and it doesn't have a single scratch on it. The screen looks brand new. I upgraded to the Moto Z Play now. I wish the Moto Z Play's back was gorilla glass. I always use a style moto shell like leather or wood because it looks better than the phone without any style shell because of the exposed pins and camera bump. Motorola should come out with a clear tempered glass case so it will protect the back and cover up the camera bump.

Bflo23 the back is made of gorilla glass, but it's covered with a protector film, which scratches easily. It's pretty hard to remove. Search it up on XDA.

el moto z play lleva por defecto una mica protectora en su parte trasera aunque parezca que no tiene nada vea bien por eso es que parece que se raya con facilidad ! debajo está el cristal recomiendo no quitar la mica a no ser que este muy maltratada ya que es bastante resistente saludos !
